In this thread it describes how to make mimosa tea with an herbal perculator.

Could one perculate mimosa, and then extract from the liquid that comes out?

My friends probably going to make this for mimosa tea, but would love to be able to extract DMT easier with this.

Anyway, if anyone could explain how to explain DMT after using this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Would I have to basify the liquid?

Could one simply poor naphtha into the liquid, and pull it after separation?

Do you understand the extraction basics? i recommend you to read the WIKI and many of the teks to understand what's going on.

when one perculates mimosa, the idea is, DMT is dissolving in the water and passing through the filter, yes? So DMT will be in salt form to be dissolved in the liquid. DMT in salt form is water soluble and NOT soluble in naphtha. So yes you would have to basify the liquid to extract.

Another issue is that THP uses a lot of water to extract the DMT, so one would have to reduce that liquid to a more manageable amount before extracting. But yeah it would definitely work, just think of it as a different way to do the Acid step in an A/B.

Ahh. Alright. I understood that the liquid normally needs to be basified, but wasn't sure if its because DMT is only soluble in naphtha if the water is basified.
