extracting DMT in australia?

hello all. im new to the forum. i plan to do an extraction soon but have alot of questions as products listed in the tek's are for america and i am unsure of which products to use in australia or where they can be found. i am gunna use a. maidenii bark with the marsofold tek.im just going to do the defatting process a few extra times. for the polar extraction, is it OK to use citric acid? what pH should i be aiming for? if i simmer the bark for 2 hours and then put all of the mix including bark into a jar and leave to sit for a few days, will that increase yeild? or will the simmering get all the alkaloids out anyway.\ when defatting i can use shellite correct? anyone know of a good product for defatting which SWIM could easily find in aus? is it true i could use mineral turps or metho to defat aswell? for the basification. in australia, most drano SWIM seen is only around 50% NaOH. is that OK to use? anyone know of a brand which is closer to 100% NaOH? im assuming it is ok to use drano which is 50% NaOH, itll just mean i gets some extra shit in my final productt? will the ammonia not clean that up anyway? oh and what pH should i be aimaing at here when basifying? and the nonpolar extravction, again shellite is ok?? or if any knows any better products which are easy to get... is it true i could use mineral turps or metho for non polar aswell? i plan to do the freeze precipitation. i live with other people and if they see a big baking pan full of liquid/crystals they are gunna be suspicious. would it be ok if i put them in the freezer overnight but kept it in an esky during the day? i could easily keep reloading the eksy with new icebricks and stuff and probably keep the air con on. is there a certain temperature SWIM would need to keep it at? anbd last but not least the ammonia wash. where do i find clear ammonia in AUS?? would this be found in a local hardware store like bunnings or or mitre 10 or something? sorry if im asking alot of questions this his my first extraction and i just want to make sure it foes well. i want to clarify stuff as i cant seem to find answers anywhere else. hiopefully some other guys can help me out. thanks to anyone who lends a hand, gretly appreciated.

Ha Ha I know. Like I said I couldnt put a name to the taste but it is a distinctive taste. To tell you the truth I have never tasted mothballs but am trying to reassure our friend that it does have a taste similar to what he is describing and he is not going to suffer from shellite inhalation. To me it smells like burning plastic but tastes different.

ok.... hehe ...Ive never sucked a mothball either... The problem though is that swiks mate studies organic chemistry and swears that the odour is definately napthaline or similar. :shock: swiks only experience with dmt is with the product he has produced himself....swiks friend also has never tried dmt except for the stuff that swik produced.... :? i take the information from you guys as the most reliable source however i follow up all info with quick searches and bouncing it off like minded peeps.... so... i am assuming from the info gathered here that im on the right track though my taste/smell naming may need addressing.... i purchased my diggers naoh from 'bunnings' however i noticed that diggers is a west oz product and may be replaced by a local product in your area.. i also did a quick saerch and noticed that 'home hardware' stocks most diggers products..

Cool, thanks. I will check them out. I would not worry about it. If its working and you arent getting any side effects and the shellite you are using evaps clean there is not much to worry about. People who work with shellite breath that shit in everyday. Even if there is a tiny bit which I doubt you are still better off than them.

im having another go at an extraction very soon. ive gathered all my products. now i just need to figure out whether ill take the 3 hours drive to gather obtusifolia bark or use a hell of alot of maidenii bark which is a 5 minute walk away :?

I'od may have has 5 meo brown wax, from 150g bark of A. Elata.

He asked me when using Xylene how he can increase his tiny yields.

I know acacia is a bitch. I'od wont listen at times.
Who has had any goodness from this beautiful tree.

I'od says shelite, diggers f n shitlite

We are looking forward to a road trip to mt buffalo.

A oxycedrus, maidenii, obustuslfoli ever in the wild. I love all trees in australia and these beautiful acacia trees are out standing. I know the information on floribunda and maidenii is'nt accurate.

The only wild bark Iod has had success with, using A\B, xylene.

Iod need's help with goo tek using Iso alc. Or Iod wants to use acetone but I know how harsh that is mixed with gunja

We will go to s-r-ss gap anyhow, Mt buffalo is far away I here because of the height above sea level and granet stone, A phllebophylla loves that enviroment and the other Acacia that grow there are very very active, but don't quote me on this.

please try avoid stripping bark from the acacias it does them no good and can often kill them.. maidenii will have good amounts (often better than bark in maidenii's case) in the phyllodes if your strain is good as will basically any other active acacia. twigs/branches/stems will have basically the same yield as the trunk and will also do less damage - in fact a careful and considered pruning can be healthy

obtusifolia in particular has already taken a beating from unethical/uninformed method of harvest. please show them the respect they deserve..

Agreed. If people are going to go there anyways though I will add that the fallen leave's of this species work very well and are in abundance on the roadsides.. theres no excuse for taking living material from phlebs and no advantage compared to fallen material either..

I'od tells me a. maidenii will grow in wet sclerophyll forest of coastal nsw.
