Extracting from tea

I made the mistake of letting my cactus tea mold. I now need to extract. Looking for pointers on how much base is necessary. About 2000g of fresh cactus has been reduced to 100ml with zero veg matter.

I know I've seen teks that extract from the tea. I'm not finding them now though. If it's best to just basify to a certain ph, what can I test ph with? Is there any standard? Ie, for every 100ml of tea use 'x' amount of lye/lime. I don't have the nice separators and all that jazz.

Basically I'm thinking just add lye + water to basify to ph of 11-13. Then add limonene or xylene, enough to retrieve. Pull, salt, evap. Repeat at adding NP solvent.

If it's too complicated I'll end up drinking the tea, as I've boiled and filtered and it smells decent enough to me. Any advice is appreciated.
 
dont drink it, theres baddies in there that will survive boiling

Your a/b plan should work fine, just keep pulling salting evaporating until you think the effort to do another cycle on it isnt yielding enough to warrant your time.
 
maybe adding 200ml water saturaterd with lye and then adding 300ml limonene or xylene shaking and salting with 50-100ml hcl or acetic acid solution?
 
take your 100 ml and let it evaporate to resin, glob it up and chase it with grapefruit soda :p

or add 15 grams lye, 200 ml orange oil, separate and salt with super dilute hcl (check 69rons tek, his dillution is right on)

i still mostly advise decanting and just taking it like a curandero, between the lips without hcl/dlimo/lye

Well, it was moldy, I mean I like blue cheese. But grabbing my gut for hours while trying to trip didn't sound fun.

I will try to put together a couple good pics if I can, don't know how they turned out yet. I added 400ml basified water to my cactus. Used about 110 grams of lye (little excessive maybe). That sat for about 5 days. Added 100ml toluene, stirred, pulled 50 or 60ml out. Added another 100 and pulled another 50 or 60, for about 120ml of solvent to salt from. The time that solvents were actually in contact were about 2 hours each. After 4 or 5 saltings, a total of about 70-90ml of water was left in a pyrex dish to evaporate. After 2 days this evaporated into a very clean off white fluffy crystalline substance. More on all that later, much appreciation to the communities that have made this possible.

I scraped up roughly 300mg of this very nice first pull. This was promptly gobbled down by my girl and her friend. One takes an SSRI of some sort, she gets very minimal effects from these things, and I'm frustrated (my fault) that she wasted my medicine. My girl on the other hand was feeling 'good, giggly, excited, playful' for 5 hours or more.

With the correct measurements this seems like a great way to extract cactus. Could easily cook up a large amount, boil down to 1 liter, add 1 liter basified water, 300-400ml of solvent, etc. I've learned a lot here. Thanks to everyone who contributes. I'll add pics and total yield when convenient.

Be extra careful when working with chems, I got a little too cozy and risked more harm than I should have.
 
This work way to easy to take pics. My pics didn't turn out great. If I do again in near future I will try some pics start to finish, it's just that it is soooo easy.

Bio-assay 1 - 2 females ingested 150mg each. Very clean sparkly, light tan powder.
Female 1 started feeling good and giggly around hour 2. Highly stimulated, barely euphoric.
Female 2 had taken .5mg of klonopin 2 or 3 hours prior, also takes SSRI's. Female 2 noted nothing different. Conclusion, female 2 gets no more drugs until there is a surplus. Female 1 would like more.

Bio-assay 2 - 250mg was ingested around 530pm. At 615 subject went for bike ride. 630-645 spent a few minutes at a friends, stimulatory feelings creeping out. Ride out to a field. 700-745 was spent in QiGong practice. I've never felt/looked so good sweating in the sun. I enjoyed the exercise and would have continued if not for getting back to the house for something. No visuals, very light euphoria. Music enjoyment was turned up a notch. Thoughts were more apt to self reflection than normal 'thinking' patterns.

Unfortunately I was still overcome by negativity. The relationship I'm in isn't one I always want to be in. Going back to stay with family isn't an option. Anyway, she was pissed at me for ingesting without her, and I was pissed that I couldn't enjoy medicine without leaving her out of it. Alas, my desperation reigns.

Conclusion. Maybe I burnt my mescaline a bit in the teaing process. It certainly seemed to lack a lot. Next time I extract I'll start with 300-350mg. I felt good, strong, and pretty clear. A great drug to take for a big pep me up. I could see taking low doses like this 2 or 3x a week for a while. Effects wore off by 130am. Asleep by 230am.
 
for me 200mg of purified sulphate salts is a light mild dose, but i'm, 6'2" 200lbs
for a journey, 500mg salts, and a few buttons is good

alot depends on personal metabolism, and salt type( mescaline hcl is a smaller mole than other types, requiring less material than say citric salts)

ps, ime this drug will force relationship issues nearly as much as other well known empathogens
