Extraction: PC'ing for tea, basify question

I plan to do a 30-45min, 15PSI PC. Then to reduce to about 700mL.
Basify at some point. Proceed with d-limo and FASW.

My question is, should I let tea settle overnight and then decant to remove the sediment, or should I basify the whole lot?


Question:
Cleaner tea = cleaner final product (?)
-or-
Sediment contains alkaloids = more alkaloids in final product (?)



I'm assuming the PC will destroy all cell walls and be extremely efficient,
as I have read,
but would 2 x 15min PC work better then one 30min PC?

0. basify at some point???( add base just before NP, wait until NP clears before pulling- this could take minutes, or many hours)
0.1. not expert in acid saturated acetone saltings, but i recommend crashing alks from clean water vs dirt NP solvents (***)
1.tea might settle out ok overnight to remove seds, but not really needed, they wont affect your extraction much
2. cleaner tea doesn't = cleaner product
3. seds dont contain anymore alkaloids than the tea( the desired alk are Very water soluble before base
4. 2 15 min pc's will be mopre efficient than one 30 min, but if you are using strong bases like lye or KOH, it doesn't matter much..\\

*** some salts are much easier to work with than others
