Fall Fungus in the Pacific Northwest

I took a liesurly walk in the forrest yesterday. I found a couple pounds of some wonderful Chanterrelles! The cyans and libs will be soon to follow. I love this time of year.

beutiful! what a treat. I can't wait till I see those coming up in my neck of the woods. The ones that I find look a bit different though... much yellower/oranger.

the ones in my neck of the woods normally are more colorful also. They will be with more time. This is the first flush of the year. They arent as colorful now but these early chanties are of perfect texture. They arent water logged. They are very firm, delicious.

back east, was camping last weekend, found a few boletes, one small king. mmmmm
