Sooo... an "accident" happened yesterday. Normally I practice with freebase - reserving Changa for when it's called for - given the respect it deserves.
But Yesterday, I decided to "warm" myself up to the main ceremony with some Changa leftovers - literally had a pile of very fine dust left in the bag.
Added extra screens into my old dry herbs vaporizer and emptied the bag into it.... admittedly - there was a tad more of that dust than it had the appearance of... whatever, these are just leftovers - said I, packed it down a little more and hit the ON switch...
Then my reality swirled into a singularity and I got thrown not only into my deepest changa trip yet - but it also happened to be the trip which redefined the term "breakthrough" for me. Turns out - I haven't seen anything yet. Again...
Ironically and sadly - during that trip I was more pissed about "wth just happened?" - than astonished by what is happening. Absolutely nice trip nonetheless, loved the rhythm of it. For the first time I've met actual entities who's presence I happen to remember.
One of the first indications of things not going as planned - was the time shimmering. In that moment I realized that I haven't felt this effect when practicing freebase for a reaaaaalllly long while now.
This left me really puzzled and strongly suspecting that I'm doing something wrong when vaporizing freebase.
Question is - what? Am I going too cold and the vapor is simply too thin? So I just keep tip-toeing on crumbs in the sub-breakthrough lobby?
The thought process goes as follows:
- for that changa trip above, I used my old portable vaporizer maxed out at 221C - this is below what changa normally requires (230C) and well above 190C I was setting it to for freebase.
- if a much lower %ge of spice in changa - albeit - slightly "miss-dozed" was able to propel me that deep at higher temperature - why am I not achieving similar depths with freebase on much higher (80-90mg) dosages?
- should the temperature be higher? Right about where it becomes harsh and a real effort is required to keep the vapor in?
- can the freebase I'm getting simply be of a sh@t quality? Wondering because that changa breakthrough actually felt different enough.
Spice always keeps surprising...
Side note: I've been experimenting with overloading on creatine on trippy days - and it does seem to help with the hangover (if any). Changa trip that heavy - never felt so light the day after.
