ok, so here are 3 related tracks that I wrote (within the past year) as a way to balance my root chakra with my heart chakra, and the result of my trial and error, aligning and refining, is as follows, enjoy 🙂

Lyrics:

[Intro]
Hey, we’re wild—
not careless.
Heat in the moment,
Safe to stay, stay fearless.

Kinky parts—
aligned with
empathic hearts.
Something I find
oh so appealing.

[Verse 1]
We don’t assume without check-ins,
green-lit eyes, and “how’s that?” mid-kissin’.
Any “hold up” hits like music—clear and clean,
Our boundaries
are part of the dream.

[Pre-chorus]
No bruised egos, no weird little test,
we keep it honest, so desire hits us best.

[Chorus]
Oh, kinky parts, coexist
with empathic hearts.
Let’s stay wild
without going cold,
dear kinky friend—
entangled soul,
the love in your eyes
never gets old.
Oh—laughing in the dark,
Enjoy—
Enjoying the kinky part.

[Verse 2]
Body language speaks volumes,
the passion is kind,
we can push the edge
without crossing the line.
Pushing the edge (Oh yeah)
Without crossing the line

[Chorus]
Oh, kinky parts, coexist
with empathic hearts.
Let’s stay wild
without going cold,
dear kinky friend—
entangled soul,
the love in your eyes
never gets old.
Oh—laughing in the dark,
Enjoy—
Enjoying the kinky part.

[Bridge]
If it’s a game, it’s honest play—
tap twice, and we’ll recalibrate.
I like you loud, I like you sweet,
I like you safe and sound
When you bring the heat.
So take your time—let’s do this smart:
Kinky in the rhythm,
Empathic in the heart.

[Final Chorus]
Oh, Kinky parts, coexist
With empathic hearts
Let’s stay wild
without going cold,
Dear kinky friend—
entangled soul,
the love in your eyes
never gets old.
Oh—laughing in the dark,
Enjoy—
Enjoying the kinky part.

[Outro]
We tend to the bridge we built—
Aiming for pleasure, and zero guilt.
If love’s a language, we speak it clear:
Desire laced with kindness,
Passion without fear.

Oh, dear kinky friend—
dear entangled soul,
the love in your eyes
never gets old.
Laughing in the dark,
Enjoying, the kinky part.

I wrote some follow-up lyrics that where based on the idea of root chakra intimacy being the "lower self" version of "higher self" kissing 😅

Lyrics:

[Intro]
Ladies and gentlemen…
allow us to explain the architectural blueprint
of romance.
Oh, here he goes again.
Drop the beat.

[Verse 1]
You always know just how to make me laugh,
Cutting the daily tension right in half.
We don’t need a poem,
we don't need a script,
Just the honest truth right on your lips.
You throw a wink from across the room,
And suddenly we're shaking off the afternoon!

[Chorus]
Oh, it starts with upstairs kissing,
Sweet and slow,
Learning all the places
Our fire wants to go.
Then we take it down—
Downstairs kissing, Deep and true,
Every floor of my body
Is in love with you!
Yeah, upstairs, downstairs,
all around,
The sweetest kind of love
I’ve ever found.

[Verse 2]
Some call it silly, I call it smart, (Real smart!)
A little humor for the empathic heart.
We leave the heavy weather at the door,
And let our laughter lead us more.
A simple question gets a simple "yes",
(Simple!) No need to overthink,
no need to guess.

[Chorus]
Oh, it starts with upstairs kissing,
Sweet and slow,
Learning all the places
Our fire wants to go.
Then we take it down,
Downstairs kissing, Deep and true,
Every floor of my body
Is in love with you!
Yeah, upstairs, downstairs,
all around,
The sweetest kind of love
I’ve ever found.

[Bridge]
Take the stairs, take the time,
I'm yours and you're mine.
Take the stairs, take the time,
Let’s get kinky, slow and kind.
I say, take the stairs, take the time,
From the ground floor up,
Watch the temperature climb!

[Chorus]
Oh, it starts with upstairs kissing,
Sweet and slow,
Learning all the places
Our fire wants to go.
Then we take it down,
Downstairs kissing, Deep and true,
Every floor of my body
Is in love with you!
Yeah, upstairs, downstairs,
all around,
The sweetest kind of love
I’ve ever found!

[Outro]
Silly, shut up and kiss me.
Yeah, upstairs kissing
And downstairs kissing,
All the way down
When no one's around.
Wherever I go with you,
Is a beautiful view

And finally, a stand alone that I wrote somewhere in-between the first two tracks "Nards Radar", a metaphor for that root attraction that has so often been the springboard towards intimate relationships, really happy with the word-flow in this one 😁

Lyrics:

[intro]
Nards radar
Primitive and raw,
Hardwired
Anatomical law

[Verse]
She stepped in my zone
lingering for awhile,
I served a casual ‘Hey’
Keeping up my low profile.
She turned up the volume
with an inviting smile.
‘System override’.
Nards radar, Tingling
Pheromones, Intermingling
This is not a drill,
Relax, Play it chill.

[Pre-chorus]
Yeah, Nards radar
Primitive and raw,
Hardwired
Anatomical law.
Primal activation
Hormones online
Oh my gosh,
She's so fine

[Chorus]
Beep, beep, beep
Nards radar code red,
Signal rising
Alerting my head,
Building pressure
Building thirst,
Could she be the treasure
That's gonna make me burst

(Gonna make me burst)

[Verse 2]
She's giving all the signals,
I'm infused by her transmission
I was standing at ease,
now I’m nearing ignition
The radar in my nards
Makes the passion real
I decide how I act
Not how I feel

[Pre-chorus]
Yeah, Nards radar,
primitive and raw
Hardwired
Anatomical law.
Primal activation
Hormones online
Oh my gosh,
She's so fine

[Chorus]
Beep, beep, beep
Nards radar code red,
Signal rising
Alerting my head,
Building pressure
Building thirst,
Could she be the treasure
That's gonna make me burst

(Gonna make me burst)

[Outro]
Desire is a gift
that keeps on giving,
While I do try to avoid
Letting my nards
Make me go nutts

No AI was involved in *composing the lyrics, the delivery was largely done with AI assistance in a DAW. Mastering of the tracks was done manually. The models involved where trained on licenced data.

I get the initial distaste for AI involvement in music production, and I get the 'AI slop' factor that's part of its bagage. I've wrestled with all that on my end as well (as a former traditional DAW user myself). But the tools available have come along way from being an AI slot machine for those who are truly interested :)

*edit: LoL, yes the typo noted below was pretty funny given the context 🤪😅

Whats a 'Nards' ?

I make music sometimes too and it might not be that good but its all my own work.

In my mind Ai music is like getting your mum to do your homework. *Other opinions are available.

We will all soon be a race of stupid people that can't do any thinking for ourselves.

I think it's possible to express the same opinions that are being expressed in this thread in a way less conductive to conflict.

I personally also never even click play (knowingly) on a generated track unless it's for purposes of humor, and don't consider that the actual state of said technology can generate something that doesn't sound pretty bad.

I think comparing what the "AI" companies are doing to stealing is misleading, and an interested and self serving propaganda play by media corporations, the same that have been screwing artists over for many decades already. It's unfair that tech assholes are allowed to breach copyright without consequences and we aren't, but IMO the problem is on the whole "you wouldn't download a car" propaganda mindset that wants to call "stealing" to an action that doesn't deprive anyone of anything. Copying is not stealing and "intellectual property" is a relatively recent fiction that mostly favors massive corporations and mostly hurts the average person. Copyright hasn't been a thing for most of human history and that didn't stop music, art, or literature.

That being said, I hope the "AI" bubble finally bursts and that people keep rejecting and reject more and more the kind of low effort, generated output that only creates noise and drowns out actual human creativity.

The "stealing" aspect isn't primarily why it's harmful to artists. All those other issues aside, it saturates the market with AI music, drowning out actual human creativity as you say, and more directly is replacing an incredible amount of opportunities for those artists, putting them out of a job. Sure this is true in many industries but the situation looks particularly grotesque in regards to music.

Apologies for bringing the vibe down, I could've been more polite. My impatience is partly due to the fact that all of this users posts filled with AI or are promoting their AI music.

Yes, I agree with that. That's a social issue and I agree with rejecting it based on that reason (I do think it makes sense for joke and humorous purposes, still).

What's worrying to me is that it seems to be perfectly acceptable for many people, as currently it's awful enough that it doesn't take any effort to reject, the effort would actually be to willingly submit myself to it.

The inability of many people to recognize LLM generated text and generated music, and their ability to enjoy it (when it's full of cliches, repetitive, and generally gross in an uncanny valley type of way) is truly worrying.

So, I'm all for social norms that shun these kind of dumps. But I think it's more productive to do so calmly, if possible. Doing the opposite tends to reaffirm the people doing these dumps more and more, as they feel personally attacked. So it leads to them becoming even less likely to understand nuance, and to think it's all about a knee-jerk reaction by "people who don't understand".

Apologies for bringing the vibe down, I could've been more polite. My impatience is partly due to the fact that all of this users posts filled with AI or are promoting their AI music.
No worries, and it wasn't specifically aimed at you.

@Zero Frequency Drama what brings you to the Nexus?

Thinking about it, this probably applies to generated music and images as well, regardless of the kind of model generating them: Just A Little Friendly Posting Guidance: Thoughts on Long-form and LLM Dumps

Basically, if your contribution is dumping something generated without any context or anything else that shows some effort or care, don't do it. This is regardless of what effort may have actually invested: if there's no way to tell, we're not interested.

@universecannon I understand the frustration—I share it to some extent

That said, context matters. My background is decades of writing poetry that eventually turned into songs. Introducing AI tools into my DAW workflow hasn't been about hitting a button to churn out a song; it's been about bringing my lyrics to life with a production quality I couldn't have imagined back when I built my DIY wardrobe studio in 2021

Writing songs has gradually elevated the baseline of my life. It has brought me closer to friends, family, and myself—and that creative fulfillment is something I hope to inspire in others 🙂

what brings you to the Nexus?

I'm a returning member from the old forum, previously known as Raz. Not sure how long ago, feels like another lifetime 🫠 Anyway, I'm questioning that myself, feeling a bit misplaced at the moment, I'm sure that will pass 🙂

My excuse is I work in an industry that is seeing a lot of Ai slop and there are movements within it where rather than using Ai to make a promotional image that looks just like every other promotional image out there, folks are turning to Permanent Markers and a price of paper.

I totally agree with the point that Ai music is being used to flood online listening platforms and pushing out real creative content made by real musicians, so my feelings are for those creatives.

Yes, I admit to using the very occasional bit of Ai but more and more I am switching off anything to do with Ai and I do not plan to use it in any of my ‘creative’ or ‘customer facing’ imagery moving forward.

Can you link to some totally human made music you’ve made? Can’t link to my own music as it’s all in my real name, I’ll have to record something specific for Nexus sometime.

Try to ignore the tone and keep the substance as feedback: people are tired of being force-fed generated music, text and images all the time, so they're very unlikely to decide to spend any more time with it willingly. I personally won't spend any time listening to any generated music, I don't care if the lyrics are handwritten or not. I'm much more likely to enjoy a faulty performance by someone learning to play music and trying their best than to something generated. Many more people feel like that.

a production quality I couldn't have imagined
And yet, what you perceive as production quality is perceived by many others as slop, uncanny valley, etc. Obviously it's fine that you enjoy it. Part of being an artist is going beyond what is enjoyable to oneself and being able to touch and move others.

Can you link to some totally human made music you’ve made?
I second that, I think more people would be interested in that, no matter the apparent production quality.

Please realize that saying "no, but my generated music actually has human effort behind it, unlike most" won't be effective whether it's true or not, as that's what most people posting generated music claim. I'm personally very unlikely to even consider clicking play on music with generated album art, as most of it will be slop. Yes, maybe there's a 0.01% that isn't, and I'll miss out on some great music. That's still a worthy tradeoff, as I will avoid most generated music as well, and there's plenty of great music in this world.

Fair enough, moving on 🙂
For what it's worth, I respect you being cool-headed about it and not getting overly defensive or arrogant about it. It seems like lately this level of self-control has become borderline mythical, so props to you. (y)

Thanks, going forward I’ll stick with occasionally sharing my poetry in this environment, like in the good ol days 😊

“I’m a frequency surfer
I work with the vibe,
Tending the baseline
That's keeping me alive.
Immersed in being
Harmony tweaking,
Destination ongoing
Our true colors showing”

I have a fairly similar relationship with the outflow of information as the inflow; the main difference is a greater sense of responsibility and influence in navigating the outflow 🙂

As there was a request, I do have two entirely AI-free tracks (apart from the album cover)—a Swedish (original) and English version of an ambient spoken word piece

I still feel fairly satisfied with the Swedish version on a nostalgic level, and I'm very happy with my English mirror of the Swedish poetry

My vocal delivery of the English version makes me cringe these days 🫠, but it's still online. I switched distributors a while after release and lost control over them; they should have vanished when my old account closed in 2023, but for some reason Youtube is still holding on to them

There seems to be a universal ban on real names here (I guess it’s easier to moderate and avoid hiccups by applying that rule across the board, even to those of us who don't mind). So, since the tracks are online under my real name, here are the lyrics as additional context for anyone interested, inspired by an NDE in 2005 (with my favorite parts in bold):

The endless path
is hidden in transition,
shrouded in mystery
inside our human condition

Entwined in the mechanics
of this curious place,
a symbiosis of aspects
a distortion of grace

*

"death is dangerous"
an understandable conclusion,
the evidence is overwhelming
regardless hints
of its grand illusion,
As many have been there
many have had a taste,
Reports of a loving light
Letting no soul go to waste

*

The endless path
is hidden in transition,
like silence between the tracks
on the album of a musician

Every composition
has its flavor,
a symphony of vibration
made to savor

immersed in rhythm
as with timing,
music is a friend
that's always shining

Settle in the connection
and let it string you along,
with emotional resonance
we are one with the song

*

The endless path
is hidden in transition,
subjective experience
evolving its mission

Coming to an understanding
doesn't require us to fully understand,
Love in circulation
makes for lighter steps at hand

None are born with hate
or contempt in heart,
a will willing to break
has pain as its start,
Even the messiest of moments
have a return to peace,
Trauma from human life
is washed away
in our origin of ease

*

The endless path
is hidden in transition,
it's hard to see
past an invested vision

What rings true today
can be out of tune tomorrow,
What used to move us forward
can become a source of sorrow

With renewal behind the wheel
and nostalgia backseat,
we drive down the road
of being existentially incomplete

in transition between the tracks
simmers our soulful song,
infinite experience
was part of us, all along

The endless path
is hidden in transition

*

in unintentional love
