First Acacia Confusa A/B extraction

Hello everyone! This is my first post, and well I created this account to tell about it because as far as I know, there is not to much information on acacia confusa. Well there's a lot of information but also a lot of unknowns. I got 250 grams of powdered root bark but it was really shredded rather than powdered. Anyways, I used yours trulys A/B extraction, but with only 100 grams of bark. I followed this extraction pretty damn close until after the acid cook because I should of had 250 ml left over and I had less than a hundred.

I was scared to do this because of not knowing if it could cause something to go wrong, but I just added some more water and vinegar mix till it got a little above 200. After that I just did your regular A/B extraction steps. I put the naphtha in my closet for a little under 12 hours and crystals were filled in the naphtha and on the sides. After I got them out, they look furry almost and they feel really soft. I know it's DMT but I guess just from hearing 'DMT crystals' I assumed they would be hard :/

I got extremely nice looking crystals on my room temp precip. Didn't even turn yellow! After that I put the rest of the naptha in the freezer for 24 hours. The freeze precip did get some dmt but I wouldn't call them crystals. They ended up being powdered and yellow. I am glad to say that I never got any goo from this extraction! I feared the whole time I would get goo like so many other people.

Well all in all I would call my first extraction a success, even though the total yield was pretty low. Roughly .2 to .3 % but like most people know, you learn a lot more from doing an extraction than you do after 24 hours of reading online, so that being said, I'm pretty sure my next extraction will yield significantly more crystals.

Congrats on a successful extraction. Getting anything the first time you do a new tek is generally a good sign

Couldn't agree more. SWIM even had someone showing him in person and didn't get it completely right when he did it on his own the first time.

I used the same extraction and got the exact same results. Fluffy white crystals at room temperature precipitation and then some waxy yellow stuff that pretty much stuck to the coffee filter. I think I am going to try dissolving in IPA to get it all out of the filters. I did get a better yield. Using 500g of Acacia I got almost exactly 5g of crystals so I am very happy.

Have you tried it yet? I have yet to have a breakthrough but have had some very nice sub breakthrough trips that were great but I am still excited to really go out there soon. My GVG shipped today so I should be getting it this week

I actually just tried it and I couldn't get anything more than a buzz :/ I was most likely smoking it wrong though. I made a light bulb vaporizer and I got a couple good hits but nothing?? Who knows but right now I'm making a tea out of just acacia root bark. I heard that the root bark by itself has some psychoactive properties so we'll see!
