First Attempt: Success?

Following an improvised (SWIM got the gist of it) Marsofold's TEK, SWIM has some small white precipitate in my freezer. Looks like grated parmesan cheese or freshly fallen snowflakes, for reference. The last step SWIM's performed is freeze precipitation from three separate pulls, which all went in the freezer at the same time yesterday. SWIM took small pulls so that each would be supersaturated, and also so that SWIM would not necessarily have to evaporate the solvent and have that suspicious lingering odor...Anyway, that's where things are at. Each pull is in a separate container and has been fan-dried and is in the freezer, but nothing else has been done. There is still a FAINT odor of Naptha on the crystals. Where does SWIM go from here? Is this product approved for inhalation? (Note: following Marsifold's TEK as it is written, SWIM would be at the ammonia wash phase BUT has been warned against it.)

Did you leave the crystals out to dry for a while? Or are they in a sealed container?

Fan-dried for 15 min each this morning, but otherwise sealed in the freezer. Leave it out to air-dry?

Yes just make sure it is somewhere safe from pets, other people etc. you don't need to store it in the cold really, I would just avoid high heat. Room temp is fine. Let them dry and see if the smell goes away. What kind of naphtha did you use? I have never had any remaining solvent smell after about 30 mins of drying.

Just vee-em&P. I probably haven't allowed it dry long enough, but let's say I set it out for good amount of time and the smell dissipates-do I need to/should/its recommended to recrystallize or wash in sodium carbonate or charcoal or whatever else? Here's my biggest problem: I've never smoked freebase crystals, let alone seen crystals in person, and never previously performed an extraction. There's a product, and I understand the principles enough to know that it's the real thing, but is it viable? Furthermore, I don't know "how" to smoke it per say, and suppose my first attempt is less than a success, I'd be hesitant to try again. (I know I'm crazy)

Haha you aren't crazy, you are being safe, that's good.

I have never felt the need to recrystalize, but you can for extra insurance.

If there is no solvent smell and the product is fairly clear/white colored then I wouldn't worry about it.
I have even had some slightly yellow product that I didn't recrystalize. It's really up to you.

As far as how to use it, I would look into the "machine" easy to make and works great from what I hear. I use a vapor genie or a regular bowl with some herb in it.

Thank you confirming this with me. I've also felt that doing anything beyond what I've done thus far would be for added insurance. I think I might just let the precipitate dry and furnish myself a machine, but also set aside one of the pulls for further purification and compare the result BEFORE I take the plunge. I researched this fairly in advance and took precautions but THIS was always going to be an unknown.

Well I just went for it. I burned a small amount in a lightbulb vaporizer. I held it over a lit candle, watched it "fizzle" and inhaled something awful (cyanide-like?) but I'm altogether unaffected. What might I have done wrong?

Ditch the bulb,

The lightbulb is one of the most inconsistent devices you could use ime,
Take a regular pipe (bowl) put a little herb in the bottom, put your desired amount of spice on top and then cover with another small layer of herb. Get three good hits off of the pipe and hold them all in for 10-15 secs. Try to just get the herb cherried don't really torch it.

That was the easiest way for me to start out, I now only use my vapor genie..once you hit one of those you won't use anything else.

OK this is an emergency, because I'm going for it again shortly and need this answered. I held it over a candle, watched it fizzle and melt but there was NO smoke and I didn't taste or inhale anything!

Smoke it in a bowl man and see how it feels, something direct. Weigh out probably .2-.3

Nothing. Tried a bowl and vaporizer. I need some expert advice. Only a very faint smell upon inhalation and no visible smoke and no experienced effects.
