First DMT extraction

Hi my name is Jarrod, me and my friend decided it was finally time to make dmt after countless times buying fake acid of people and 1 was even our friend well was our friend. we have been searching for some sort of experience ive been doing meditation and lucid dreaming but i been to trip.

so i saw this extraction method where u put caustic soda in water then in powder mimosa histilis, then add naptha (shellite in aus) then stir 40 mins let chill for 20 mins then extract, and then you can do other extractions but i wont go into that and ive done all of that but with pharalis Aquarius. its evaporating right as i right this and we are about to go check on it and smoke it if possible,

also i used a bit more water than it said to use so i have no idea how this will turn out specially seems how we didnt do the acid/base style

nice that you introduce yourself so openly, on the other hand you might consider not posting your name and location for obvious reasons

caution with the phalaris, depending on the solvent you use there could be a high amount of gramine in your extract

which is quite toxic

i dont know for sure which solvent is recommended for phalaris, but if you did not check already you should


also dont rush it with the extraction, go carefully and evaluate every step that you are doing

otherwise dissapointment or even injury may be a result of your experiments

injury like brain damage from the gramine, be carefool with that phalaris

haha yea i made sure not to go to much into detail who i am, i have done a bit of research, in most of the methods people would use naptha as the solvent, but the thing i was more worried about was the fact of no acid, as i have read the acid is ment to turn the dmt into a salt, but mimosa dmt is already a salt (I read this after already starting)so im a bit worried about that.

As for the gramine, that i had no idea about, i researched it after reading ur response and that's some crazy shit i hope that aint it my grass :S but what i plan on doing is taking a hit like just enough to feel a tiny effect like im talking a little tin ball on top of a bowl of weed maby or just the old crack head style in a light-bulb because I have no vaporizers

I should have taken it a bit slower, could have avoided the whole over water situation, thank you for the advise

The 2 most used types of extraction used here are STB and A/B. If you go the A/B route you will acidify first, but as you say it is possible to use the fact that DMT is already in salt form and miss out adding extra acid.

If you go the STB route there is no need for acid (it’s good to have a bottle of vinegar out to neutralise spills though). You just basify the material without extracting into acid solution.

What kind of extraction you choose is up to you. I started on STB (Noman’s Tek) but when I got used to that I moved on to A/B. Despite the fact it is more complicated (not much tbh) if I was to do my first extraction again it would be A/B.

If you are going to work with material containing a lot of fats (phalaris etc.) then A/B is fairly essential so you can defat the product in the acid stage. MHRB does very well without a defat.

well after leaving it over night to evaporate i think it may have been too cold because it did not evaporate, well most of it did, also the colour of the naptha (shellite) only went a bit yellow as the amount lessened is this good?

Oh so is all DMT already a salt or is it only in mimosa?
i was wondering why caustic would burn because it being a base and all then when you said "it’s good to have a bottle of vinegar out to neutralise spills though" a instant school memory of base's and acid's came back and why base burns and i was like OOOOOHHH haha.

What will happen if it is not defated will it just have the chance of having gramine?

before doing most research i had already started (like a dick head) but next time i will definatly use the A/B. any tips on the best acid to use?

so after it had evaporated i was left with white streaks in the glass baking dish and some yellow circles in a white ceramic bowl, scraped it up (got the tinyest little like the top of a headphone jack of dmt goo, we put it in a vap pipe and smoke it i got a little tiny buzz like a marijuana bowl but smaller than that.
it did smell like dmt but had a strong plastic smell, but i guess that the STB method does not work for pharalis aquaris .
