First extraction checking a few things..

Alright so i just started my extraction. I picked a day where nothing could disturb me but of course with my luck something happened, had to go to the hospital, my friends are a bunch of idiots etc etc.

To make everyone's life easier here's what I'm using (Nomans tek btw):
2L pickle jar
800Ml water
50g MHRB pre powdered
50g~ Lye
haven't added the Naphtha but plan to use 25-50ml heard less might be better

Anyway at about 9:30 am (10 hours ago) I mixed lye and water which strangely enough i thought Lye was suppose to make the water hot? it didn't change temperature at all... Anyway it became cloudy for a bit I constantly stirred until it completely dissolved. I then added the MHRB shook it like mad and let it sit. While waiting I had to go to the hospital as of now I'm still not home but I asked my sister to pass by my place to check how its doing She says its blackish liquid now which I'm guessing its how its suppose to be? It's not sludgy at all just complete liquid.

Some questions:
Is it good to let it just sit there for that long? I'm thinking of starting on it again tomorrow instead of tonight.
Is it suppose to be just a black liquid as of now?
Would 25ml of Naptha be good or should i do 50ml?

It's fine for it to sit that long.
Yes, it should be black.
I'd use 50ml for the first pull and 25 for the rest.
Freeze precip them individually and you can see when the solution stops yielding.
Don't throw anything away until you're done.

Thanks Noman, I did a pull a while ago just went to check it now and I see some white crystals! Everything is going as planned. Pulling with a turkey baster was a pain in the ass though.

^Yeah he's doing fine now. So today i took out my pull and i saw basically the same amount of crystals when i checked on them after 3 hours in the fridge this time 24 hours had passed which disappointed me especially when everything was said and done...30mg on the scale decided to smoke all of it. Which was absolutely positively the most intense and beautiful thing that I have ever done everx2 will post trip report soon.

Anyway what gives with that yield? the crystals were nice and white though, I'm thinking maybe it's because I didn't do warm naphtha pulls? my other yields are still in the freezer with some crystals. I decided to wait until tomorrow to take them out hopefully see a lot more...
