first extraction yield good or bad?

Hello fellow nexions. I am currently rapping up my first extraction of mhrb; I used the stb tek. I ended up with just a little less than 3 grams. I used 200ml to 250ml per pull and used over all a gallon of naphtha. The longest soak I did was over night. I stir each pull for 30 minutes at a time; is this average yield? From what I read 1% is average but I don’t know how true this is. I can’t say I’m not pleased with the results but I feel like I’m leaving a lot of magic in the basified mix. I plan on doing a xylene pull after a few more naphtha pulls. I’ve been reading about jungle spice; sounds pretty hyped up by people but worth studying. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

From what I read 1% is average but I don’t know how true this is.

It is hard to tell unless you say how much mhrb you used.

wow i was that stoned.... I used 500 grams of whole bark that i broke down into small pieces.

Is your bark broken up enough? I'd get at least 10grams of fairly clean spice for 500grams of MHRB, but I only do 50g at a time and always get over a gram by doing freeze precipitations.

really thank you.. I will try that well i still have a basified mix sitting should i have used the 1g/lye for 1g/mhrb all
the way up for the 500grms? I used 14 tablespoons for 2 liters h20 i think (tablespoons) wieght 15grms each. That could be
the cause of the low yield. This is my first time and i am learning so thats good thing and i have enough spice for studding.:lol:

Before I started to do my own extractions my friend used to gift me enough spice to keep me going. After the initial intigration period and realisation that this was infact something that I wanted to persue. I decided to read up and do my own.

At first I planned to go BIG and extract much more than I'd ever be able to use or gift to another. I think it was something like half a kilo too. I done a 50g MHRB just to test the waters and sample the fruits of my own labour. I yeilded a little over 1g... a massive amount of spice in my eyes. Enter hyperspace and cue the lecture on how to work with it properly (my friend later told me that he had the same).
The molecule has a built in safety mechanisim! For those that seek to abuse it, well it simply wont show them anymore than it wants to. They'll never be able to take it from us... its everywhere if you know where to look.

Anyway my point is.. or lesson was "less is more". You dont need vast piles at a time. Just tide yourself over. If I were unfortunate enough to get caught with an amount of the medicine. It wouldn't even cause a ripple in the water... its nothing. All I have is pink dye and stuff for making soap. I dont know what all you lot are doing, but I like being clean, so make cheap soap... I wear pink clothes.

1ltr water, 50g MHRB, 75g NaOH always works well. I'm not sure if just adding zero onto the end of all those figures would work though man.
