Hi guys. Thanks in advance.
I have powdered rootbark, 50g. I ended up being similar to Cybs A/B with salt used for a defat after the acidification step, before lye etc.
i managed to get 85mg yield of clean white crystals even after not reducing the amount of naptha I put in freezer. Too deep??
This seems small for 50G powdered AARB. Would there be more left behind somewhere? In the defat, I threw some of the soup with the fat, maybe 30ml.

Looks nice and clean at least. Try doing some more pulls, you'll likely be able to push your yield up that way.

Writing out what you did step by step in full detail will further help us in guiding you towards squeezing out whatever yield there still might be in your extraction. Did you strain out the bark before defatting and adding base? If so, how many times did you brew the bark?

Yeah. I was happy with the colour. Was worried about gooey, yellow result. Here is the tek I used, with help from Gemini;
The Workflow: From Powder to Final Product

1.Step 1: Acidification & Cell Lysis:1.5 - 2 hours.

Mix 100g of powdered bark with 500mL distilled water and 30mL white vinegar. Simmer (do not boil) at ~60°C for 1 hour. Strain the liquid through a coffee filter into a glass jar; save the liquid and repeat the simmer on the remaining bark twice more. Combine all three washes.

2.Step 2: The Salting Out & Defat:1 hour.

Add 30g of non-iodized salt (NaCl) to the acidic tea and stir until dissolved.

Add 50mL of Naphtha. Gently "rock and roll" the jar for 5 minutes—do not shake. Let it separate until clear.

Siphon off the top Naphtha layer (it contains the fats) and discard it. Repeat once more to ensure the tea is "clean."

3.Step 3: Basification:30 min.

Dissolve 30g of Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) in 100mL cold water (always add Lye to water). Slowly add this to your acidic tea. The solution will turn from amber to opaque dark grey/black. Aim for a pH of 12–13. Let it cool to room temperature.

4.Step 4: The Final Pulls:3 hours.

I did all this step in a heat bath around 50 degrees C. Add 50mL fresh Naphtha to the dark base solution. Gently rock/invert for 10 minutes. Let it separate completely (clear layer on top). Let rest 10 minutes in bath then 5 more minutes rolling etc. Use a glass pipette to carefully extract only the clear Naphtha layer into a clean glass dish. Repeat this 4 times to capture all alkaloids. Reduce naptha to 150 ml.

5.Step 5: Precipitation:12 - 24 hours.

Cover the glass dish with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the freezer. The cold causes the alkaloids to "crash out" of the Naphtha and stick to the glass as crystals. After 24 hours, carefully pour off the remaining solvent, tilt the dish, and let the crystals air-dry completely until no chemical smell remains. I put in front of fan on its side.

I used 50g and did not scale anything else. thanks for your help. I put all the extra naptha back in the freezer

So, you did five pulls from the base soup, and the bark remained in there? If you've used materials in amounts for a 100 g extraction, but only used 50 g of bark a certain amount of your yield is going to remain in the naphtha after freezing. You could try the...

...mini A/B on the naphtha to concentrate it without having to evaporate a load of it.

I've been working with AARB for a while now and so far my best yield from a 50g batch has been 0.51g (1%) white crystal. This seems to be more realistic than the claimed 1.7% max but there are still some tricks I haven't tried yet to pre treat the bark such as freeze thaws. I use Cybs original salt tek with own modifications and I'm happy to share my process if you'd like.
