first pull nomans tek

swim is doing a stb nomans tek and is wathcing his jug after putting warm naphta it separated well but in top of the jug is a more thick solution decanting well these be a problem swim added ??? would adding a little more water be better???

need more details... 600ml water for every 100g mhrb? 100lye?

probably plant matter/emulsions... it should look like porridge/mud?

swim used 200g of bark 240 of lye 4 liters of water its a bit muddy thats my cocern that it takes a little more time to decant all the basified liquid but with the naphta separted ok and its a clear color

I'd have gone with 1.2ltrs... depends how fine you ground the vine, but I never filter off the base solution.

best to leave a thin layer of Naphtha in the Basified solution after you pull.. give it time to separate fully while you freeze the rest..
