First run at it, how does it look

Heya folks, this is a very first extraction ever, using Cyb's Salt Tek with 50g MHRB. The first couple pulls were clean and the next couple were dark yellow. Zippo was used because VM&P apparently doesn't exist in Western Canada and it seemed to be good with evap test.

Anyway, some of the black drink was pulled with the syringe the last couple times, would that cause the different color, excess plant? Also, it was kind of sticky scraping it out.

What do you guys think? I am planning on cleaning it up unless you guys say it looks good :/

..which means you have lye (and bark) in your end product, which is no good. The goal is to have absolutely no bark soup get pulled into your syringe.

You can salvage what you have either with a mini a/b or treating your dirty DMT as bark and "extracting" it again with fresh solvent.

Don't feel bad though! My first extraction wasn't pretty either. This is just part of your journey to DMT. Definitely don't attempt to put that in your bloodstream in any way.

You can also do a sodium carbonate wash, you'll get rid of the lye trapped inside your spice
