Hello, I am in the process of getting the materials necessary for a DMT extraction and need some pointers and advice before starting to ensure I do it right, as I do not want to produce an inferior product. I do not plan and never would sell my extraction to make a profit, as I feel this is a wonderful thing that should not be charged for. I have smoked DMT only twice, both in the span of 3 hours, and it changed my life. Now I want to make my own so I can continue my experience and even turn others on to it. I have done extensive research and arrived at a tek I feel will be effective, but would like some help to ensure I do it right. Here is my tek:
I will be using 300 ml of deionized water, 6 grams of caustic soda and 30 grams of Acacia Confusa root bark. The amount of Naphtha or in this case lighter fluid should be at least 10% of the volume of the root bark, or 3 grams. I will let the Naphtha sit in the freezer an hour prior to use to reduce fumes. After the solution is made, I will heat the bottle anywhere between 40 and 55 degrees Celsius. After heated properly I will shake the bottle, opening the cap periodically to insure no pressure buildup. After shaking I will remove the cap and replace it with ceran rap and a rubber band to further insure no pressure buildup. Then I will let the solution sit until the layers have separated. I will then remove the top layer and with the turkey baste into the glass pan, which will be covered as possible to reduce evaporation while transferring it. I will replace the rap and rubber band on the bottle. I will then tip the Naphtha into one corner of the glass pan and clean any impurities with the corner of a rag. I will then place the pan in the freezer over night. The next day I will remove the pan and using the turkey baste I will remove the Naphtha and place it back into the solution. I will then reheat the solution to the desired temperature. After removing the Naphtha I will set the pan upside down to drain any left. After properly drained, the pan will be covered in free base DMT, the desired result. I will scrape this up with a one sided razor blade and place in a jar, which will be placed in the freezer until used. I will repeat the process three times. I will then place the scrapings into 20ml of heptane, and heat this to the target temperature. I will repeat the process of extracting the Heptane into the glass pan with the turkey bastes. I will then place the pan in the freezer. When removed the next day I will remove the Heptane and be left with a more pure form of free base DMT.
