First time Extract - no DMT smell?

Hi!

so, i have taken my first tentative stumble into the land of extraction. STB with 100grm MHRB, using naptha and then heptane once that ran out... several pulls. some frozen, some evaporated

about 1 gram of white crystal, a test of 0.01 sandwiched resulted in mild but active effect. Huzzah!

but there is little to none of the "DMT" smell from the crystals. is this normal?

i already look forward to further extractions, refining and increasing yield when time allows.

The lack of smell is usually an indicator of high purity. Nice!
