First time extracting 5-Meo-DMT from acacia auriculiformis,any suggestions?

Hello, I am new to extraction, I am using AB extraction using acacia auriculiformis,i have collected stem bark and young stems. I decided to do individual extractions for stem bark and stems.i am using sodium hydroxide and N-Hexane to extract. I dried the stems and bark. It's say acacia auriculiformis contains 5-Meo DMT, I never in to 5Mdmt ,if any one give any suggestions regarding this extractions on acacia auriculiformis,it would be helpful for me.also do any one how much percentage DMT levels these tree contain please share.

If you can find this acacia nearby, then why not do a small batch sample. Consider the possibility of having ample supply of god molecules... worth a try imo.

So if you are still not sure HOW to perform the extraction:

Maybe do some regular A/B with a defat step - most other plants have a high fat amount and only Mimosa Hostilis does not require this step.

So cook the shredded bark,

Extract other fats with Hexane (or maybe a stronger solvent like Xylene/Toluene/DCM/Ethyl Acetate),

Basify to pH >11

Extract with Hexane.

But keep in mind that the solubility of 5-MeO-DMT is not that high in Hexane - you will need more solvent than compared to DMT. It is only slightly soluble in boiling Hexane, therefore make sure to pull with Hexane at 65 °C or higher.

If you get some results, but with bad purity, you could add another FASA step:

Dissolve whatever is coming out from your Hexane pull in Acetone/Isopropanol/Ethanol/... and add a solution of saturated fumaric acid. Wait 1 day and collect the precipitation, dissolve this in a minimal amount of water and basify to pH >11 again.

Now pull one last time with Hexane at 65 °C and place the Hexane in a freezer. That may improve the purity. But thats just from a hypothetical view ...
