First time extracting ACRB

I tumbled it over rolling motion. I will do more pulls, mixing more thoroughly. Will also basic the bark and do pulls on that as well.
Seems like extracting always has some hitches in it as I often have to try several times to get the magic out. After 3K of bark and extractions that things would go smoother lol.
Pics and updates will come as I have news.
I feel like the bark is quality, I feel like it is operator error here.

Well if it is quality bark , it'll be in there somewhere , but I can't see where you made a mistake , so the only real way to tell is try another TEK , and you really should try Cybs salt TEK on a 50g test batch , once you see how clean and simple a TEK it is you'll be kicking you'reself thinking why didn't I try this a long time ago ! That I promise you :thumb_up:

Further pulls keep coming back cloudy but, as the pics will show, the yield was very minimal.
Had tiny crystals but most is a clear looking goo that has the color and consistency of high grade thc "butter" (meaning hash oil)
Doesn't reek of tryptamines like yellow and orange oil I've seen a lot working with mhrb. Burned a little on my knife blade and smelled exactly like spice.
Be interesting to see what I get from the other pulls and will basify the bark and see what is there.

I think you should really hold of on wasting more materials on the 250 boil ATB just until you see if the bark is quality buy doing a smaller ext with Cybs TEK , I know I said this before but what's the point of mucking around if the bark is of low quality , but it's you're rodeo !

Simmered at least 10X at 3 hrs each. Still getting color

Truely 10 x 3 hrs wow haha , and color doesn't mean alkaloids after all it is a dye !!

Yeah, I was shocked.
Will do the stb on the already boiled bark to make sure I didn't miss anything there. Will do a small Cyb's afterwards. I'm hoping it's not the bark, if so it's back to the drawing board on finding quality materials.

Must not have allowed the solvent to mix well enough. And surprised that the first pulls got the goo and then the following pulls get the crystal. Put my reduced solvent from the 2nd attempt at extracting and several hours later I am seeing nice white crystals forming. The kind one expects from an A/B. Still have to see how much more forms by tomorrow and will still extract if still getting results. Once I get used to working with this material all should be well.

Well the results are in and they are mixed.
I've gotten roughly 3.5g of off white goo. 2g of which solidified to be nicely workable stuff that chops well with a blade. Smells strongly of try patties especially when heated. Have not had the chance to assay it as if yet. The rest is various shades of waxy, oily stuff and a ball of gummy/oily putty that I rolled into a ball. Had some red stuff like this from mhrb in the past and it hardened and got crystally eventually. We'll see if that happens here. Going to try another vendor's bark and see how it compares. Also need to assay the material. Not as good as hoped maybe but some is better than none.
I'm sure that the numbers would be greatly lower were I to re-crystallize.

The spice on the bottom right I think may be contaminated ! Sorry to say ....... What's it look like in real life ??

Not contaminated. Just some orange stuff that became very crystalline after drying out.
This spice I know is good as it is leftover from a previous mhrb extraction.
That particular stuff has been assayed and is very potent.
But then most folks I know seem to get further on the yellow to orange crystal than do on pure white. I used to prefer white myself until I got more comfortable with spice. Then I started to agree with the yellow crowd.
The white powder here is what I am looking forward to trying. It was clear goo that dried up to a good chunky choppable form. So long as it is good, I'm happy. Still plan on trying acrb from another vendor to see what's up.
Can't imagine there was too much wrong with extraction itself. I went thru the procedure the same way as in the last 7yrs.
Just good to have spice again.

Sounds good , always trying another batch of bark isn't a bad thing it's keeping you're guy honest ! I might even drop the mini and go the goo next !!

Haven't been able to get in touch with REMOVED I wished to try, unfortunately.
Haven't had the time to try a subsequent extraction on the bark I already have.
A tad disappointed but sure to find success again.

What was your total yield? I wouldn't expect a mg less than 3.5 from 250g bark o.o

That's about what I got,1ce.
A lot of it waxy or even putty like in consistecy. Have mixed results from those who've assayed it.
Can only do another attempt as I have the bark. Also going to try bark from elsewhere. Glad I saved the spice that I did.
