First xtraction results :: PICS ::

hello nexians
ive been doing my homework for the last few month and heres the results;
i did 3 pulls so far, the 4th is in the freezer
when i was scarping i noticed that there are big flufy cristals that i scraped easily, and there are tiny "more oily" crystals that are more sticky to the dish... after scarping these "tiny crystals" they formed like a goowy yellowish crystals... at the scarping prosses they were almost oily...
i think i did everything fine... the only thing is that i dont have a scale at this momment so i cannot scale the yield (ill do it asap), but i think its a really good%... whats your oppinion?

Looks just right...nice amount for 50g.

You can re-x the yellow or try it as it is...:thumb_up:

Store in a small glass vial if you can...if you store in paper the oils leach out and stick to the paper

looks good, the best thing that i like to do, is recrystallize in heptane.

the process i use, since i like both the yellow stuff and the white crystals, i get 2 small measuring cups(about the size of a shot glass). also get a shallow dish large enough for both small glasses to sit in. add just enough water to the larger shallow dish, to surround bottom of each small glass and put in the microwave to get pretty warm water but not too hot. add about 20ml of heptane to one glass and add your dmt,(all of it, including all the yellow) to the other glass.

BEFORE microwaving the water, make sure you have nothing flammable around, make sure you have very good ventilation and do not work with heptane around pilot lights on a furnace or stove, i turn mine off to be on the safe side.

it should only take a few seconds for the dmt to start to melt, and by then the glass of heptane should be decently warm, dump the heptane into the glass of melted dmt. stir very well with a tip of a knife while the mixture is still in the warm water bath and you will see yellow goo separating at the bottom. once you have stirred quite well pour the heptane back into the other glass and try to keep all of the yellow stuff in the glass you were stirring.

now freeze both and you will have your super clear xtals in the heptane and yellow gunk on the bottom of the other container. filter off the heptane, or evap and collect the clear ones. for the one with the yellow in it, i have to pretty much chisel the gunk off of the bottom of the glass.

the yellow stuff is a bit different than the clear xtals, but very very good imo..i like the yellow better but it is a little more harsh. seems to come on a little slower and i find it a little easier to concentrate and stay relaxed.
