Food Safe Extraction Advice Needed

Hi everybody, long time lurker, first time poster.

Nice to meet you all hope you're all having a good start to the new year.

I've just got a few questions regarding a food safe tek. I happen to live in a remote area with access to hundreds of wattle trees, most notably acacia maidenii and acacia mearnsii. I've been researching a little bit in my spare time DMT extractions over the past few weeks and have a rough idea of how to go about doing so. I just need a simplified tek using the few supplies I have readily available. I've really been trying I just can't seem to get my head around it.

I have vinegar to use as an acid, Sodium Carbonate to use as a base & Vege oil to use as a solvent. I have ethanol available if necessary but I'd rather not use it if possible. I have limited chemistry knowledge hence why I want to go with a food safe tek. Please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. If somebody can shed some light it would be much appreciated

q21q21 tek for a first try would be best. You'll get a good understanding of what's going on, less mess, less room for error, and just less work plain and simple. Calcium hydroxide is a great safe base, its used to pickle cucumbers. Easy to get off the internet and cheap. A 4$ bag will work on nearly 1k of bark. Using Naphtha to pull is fine, it evaporates 100% clean. Xylene also, it will pull out some extra goodies - more of a red gooey sap. Honestly I have no ides what other alkaloids are in there but they add to the journey. pull with Nap until you aren't yielding much, then switch to Xylene. You can mix these together if you'd like, but I'd try them both separately so you can see the difference.

Hi. Salting out of sunfloweroil then a water crystalization in a small amount of basic water should be ok for phyllodes from those trees.
Or maybe the hippytek

Nen states in the 'acacia extraction workplace' that water and vinegar fortified with ethanol is an effective combination.
An initial alcohol wash to extract the gums and resins proved highly effective too.

Acacia maidenii is at 0.62% dmt / nmt if any at all, and it also has to do with the season,time of day and age of the tree, these factors play into percentage. You are also going to need about twice as much plant material than the more popular barks because of it being 0.62%. if you wish to get at least a gram that is. Also the plant contains almost as much NMT as DMT, so its pretty likely that you will extract a goo, but the goo is good. Look into changa or enhanced leaf.

your acids and bases are good, but to be honest, using naphtha as your nps, will require less steps, because you have to salt the goodies out of the veggie oil, and then convert it to a freebase IIRC. some of the food safe teks have disappeared so im having some trouble finding the right information.

If i were you , i would go harvest some Acacia maidenii and then do cybs hybrid salt tek, and once you know what your doing, switch to a food safe tek.

Thanks everybody for the informative replys. I'll look into non food safe extractions and get a good understanding of the process. I could even go get some shellite/caustic soda. Maybe then I'll come back to food safe teks. BTW, are acacia mearnsii worth pulling from? I know the actual alkaloid content in them is controversial but has anybody had any first hand experience? what do you base the half half nmt to dmt claim on, datdmt? have you extracted from acacia maidenii personally or seen analysis? i had heard that the right strain of maidenii is mainly just dmt

Please dont use the bark and harm the population there is no need phyllodes are just as good, 80/20 dmt:nmt iirc..

Try this... Extracting DMT with ethanol, vinegar and sodium carbonate - Eco friendly extraction teks - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus
Or..
Soak the phyllodes in ethanol then boil them for 30 minutes.
You should now have separated the gums/resins. Decant this thick brown liquid away and keep it aside.

Soak the plant matter in vinegar water, 2 caps of 5% vinegar per litre.
Freeze them overnight then thaw them out.
Boil gently for 45 minutes and decant liquid then add more to material.
Repeat twice more.
Filter the combined liquid through cottonballs..
Reduce liquid on the stove until its 300ml. Filter.Filter.Filter.
Defat with 200ml of vege oil.
Separate oil and put aside.

Now there are a few choices in how to proceed using only ethanol..
Route1: reduce further until its 30ml then filter.
Then pour onto dish and add excess sodium carbonate and mix thoroughly. Dry out completely then pulverise until powdery.
Put the powder into a jar and add DRY 100% ethanol and shake vigorously often over a few hours then let stand for a while.
Pour through coffe filters or siphon off ethanol into another dish.
Evaporate the ethanol to be left with a goo.

Route 2:
Amor fatis manual crystalization method in a dish using just basic or distilled water, method on the nexus wiki.

Route 3: Use lye to water crystalize search wiki for instructions.

Just follow q21 tek #1 "The Jim Jam Party", replace calcium hydroxide with sodium carbonate, replace limonine/xylene with oil. Easy now
