For Pandora (cat thread)

JuneBug @ 2 1/2 months:

Very active, hunts as much as possible, really vocal and communicative... She gets an hour in the morning for snuggling and getting belly rubs in spite of my grogginess... she's reset my bedtime to coincide with us waking up at dawn... which I'll say is good i guess.

Her dad is at least 2 feet tall standing on all fours, I've never seen anything like him, really lanky with a tail like a lion (bushy at the tip).

Her most endearing move: flying leaps grabbing onto the back of my calf when I walk around the apartment (no claws ever.)

On the other hand, my foot is her worst enemy in the morning for whatever reason.

This is June's fav. thread ever.. I'd post so many more pictures but it's an exercise in restraint for me, She thrives on photo sessions

Here she is taking interest in the camera- she tries to get my phone whenever I use it so it's not easy taking a candid shot, but makes photos real interesting.

Just about to destroy something:

Saw her sister yesterday, she lives in the projects in a house full of kids and is quite happy there, real sweet

This is her mom and Remix, my other cat that I had before her mom chose me as her person:

Idk if anyone noticed yet but I barely have time to take a picture before June sticks out her tongue, its just a phase I'm sure.

I love her so much she has her own room in my apartment for playing and I try to spend at least 3 hours a day giving her my whole attention. I can't believe she is real, she is like a cartoon kitty if that makes sense or somehow the most perfect kitty, I swear she says hi and yes and stuff, never heard her say anything like Meow. I sense this strong drive in her to understand and do every thing human, from books to computers to phones to dinner she is right there trying to duplicate my actions and understand what's going down.

We hunt for flies together, we are about even in skill level.

Whoever said black cats are bad luck played their hand wrong

Edit: Wow, I sound like a crazy cat guy. Thank god I have a job and a gf now or I'd wonder about myself....

i am currently taking care of my friends cats. she calls them her "children" . i feel so weird when she says that i think you are in the safe. ^^

My friend's away for 3 weeks so i have all the opportunity to do the lsd experiments i always wanted. i have seen that one cat go crazy from government funded experiments on tape. but what if you also give the cat vaped DMT?

Cats are great I have one snoring next to me now.
Cats sleep (or so we think)all the time so they can go into hyperspace to transcend this mortal plain and the baffoons that populate it

The other night I was standing in the kitchen looking down at JuneBug:

"What's up baby June?" (or something, I just talk to her about normal stuff)

She looks up at me softly and sweetly and goes 'MOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!" In a deep low voice, really much different than June's voice and probaby a few octaves lower than mine too.

I said, "whaaaaat???" because honestly I was floored, completely astounded at her almost demonic intonation (word?) She sounded like my older brother. Deep and all like a man not a kitty, it didn't fit at all.

So I am asking her "whaaat???" and she looks up and does the exact same voice. "MOOOOOWWWWWWWWW."

I was sort of saying to myself, "This is it, reality as you know it has fallen apart" When I moved my head from being next to the ceiling fan. There was some kind of vertical Bernoulli effect occuring that accounted for the difference in octaves, but let me tell you, before I could make heads or tails of it my kitten had been inhabited by The Demon.

I've never told ya how sweet June's voice, her questions and her statements are prior to this... so I won't now. Picture a sweet baby that looks like a kitty, and never cries or even makes a big deal out of anything.
