JuneBug had some crustys on her ear and I thought she'd gotten some pancake batter on her ear and it was real minor but when it spread to her whole ear I said This Won't Do At All because if anything makes my kitty less pretty I'll kill it so I did.

It turns out that Apple Cider Vinegar is purported to be an antibacterial antiviral antifungal. Lots of plant acids are probably because it keeps the plants healthy and they survive and make more plants, but Apple Cider vinegar is something else, what exactly i don't know but hey if the people online were doing it 😁

I scraped this gunk off in the morning and it was back by noon, so I mixed up Apple cider vinegar and Olive oil which also has some nifty anti-baddies properties and promotes skin health and put this salad dressing on her outer ear everywhere that looked affected. She liked it being put on and purred a lot, enjoyed licking it all day which didn't bother me at all, cuz really it could be some Vet medicine that costs over a hundred dollars to get and hurts her belly anyway. But I put some on my head anyway to make her feel good that we were doing something together with purpose. Wouldnt you know it my scalp felt better instantly, not itchy anywhere just tingly and my hair ended up looking healthier later. I never really did just a bar of soap but to be straight I'm never using sham poo again or any crazy soap on my head

Today her ear looks perfect. You should always take your kitty to the vet i guess if youre in doubt which is the standard disclaimer but I don't really agree with that because it turns out that home remedies like this work for ear mites and other infections as well. I try to avoid doctors and dentists and all costs

So that's that. And this is this: 😁

I fucking love science said:
“If it fits, I sits” applies to all cats, no matter what size they are.

Cats are elusive and instinctively prefer to stay hidden. Boxes give them the privacy and security that they need, though they are still able to monitor their surroundings and come out when they want or need to.

I always rummage through cardboard recycling to build my cats houses like this:
