Freeze precipitation- Gel forms

Hey guys SWIM is having issues With Freeze precipitation.
SWIM is using Bestine, has used it many many times before,
but now is having an issue with solvent turning into a gel.
Swim has tried to evap all the way, then adding more solvent to recrystallize and the same issue continues. Has anyone had this problem before?

Very strange. Try explaining your extraction procedure maybe we can help.

As usual SWIM did
*50g of bark (mimosa)
*40G of ice cream salt
*700ML H2O
*50g of Lye

For extraction Bestine (N-Heptane) 30cc's
Mixed around a few times for a couple hours (every 30 min mix)
Extracted Heptane, did a soda wash, water wash, heated solvent on water for
15 minutes to get plant oils to the bottom, extracted oils out.
let it cool, then placed on fridge over night. the Heptane became Gel.
shook it around and let it get to room temp, tried placing in freezer instead and same
thing happens.

Wierd, sounds maybe like a chemical reaction or something. What have you done differently this time compared to previous successes? There has to be a changed factor.

The only difference was the bark used, SWIM hasn't REMOVED and that freaked me out since they got their doors kicked 4 weeks later.
