I have 12 cakes in a fruiting chamber and they are starting to pin and grow. I want to have a ceremony with a few people with fresh mushrooms, ive never had fresh. Im justing wondering if there is any difference in the experience with fresh and what the average dosage would be?

As I rule for me I say x10 what you'd have dry and often just a fraction more.

I find the onset to be smoother and the whole experience less jittery in general.

Fresh are great!! Also I have found that smaller ones and aborts are more potent by weight.

thank you for your replies. I had read that it was 10x the dried dosage i just wanted to make sure.
Im hoping i will get a good yield out of my cakes its been years since ive had any.
how long can you keep the fresh mushrooms before going bad?

They say that fresh mushrooms can last up to 1 week before turning bad. They should be kept in the fridge, stored in a paper (not a plastic!) bag...
