P. Ingeli, presented in 2023, was quickly discovered to be even more potent than azures, cyans and panaeolus cyanescens, is a warm weather dung mushroom from South Africa and about as difficult to grow as Golden Teachers.
For me, an omen of a larger spiritual awakening happening all over and for all of us, a great new cultivar.
From an indoor cultivation of Ps. ingeli.
Coco coir/ vermiculite (small amounts of poo and woodchips may be beneficial but not required.) Fruited in a Dreamer Tub on fan setting 4. They require a bit more air than most exotics to stand up straight. Good hydration of the sub (less than zapotecorum but more than Panaeolus.) This run was done at room temperature with pins forming in less than 2 weeks once in fruiting conditions

These are from an outdoor grow under a mulberry tree in NM. Straw/manure mixes tend to give the bigger, meatier body. Coir/Verm works well too and the largest specimens were grow on coir in a water jug terrarium, seemingly owing to the dripping humidity? It is still very new and we are all learning
We have plenty of Culture [>snip< - mod team.] but to get a few out there for research on grows in a place they will come back and talk about it.
We're working with 10 or so this year, but my holy grail is the TTVBI, Black cap nats and Ingeli. Allennii later, but yeah, when people tell me what happened I like saying "Well you're ordained now"
