From DMT to Dreamwork: a consciousness project ive been building

hey peepz,

longtime reader here :) iveve soaked up so much from this forum over the years, quietly learning through trip reports, integration threads, and the wild and often totally random wisdom that lives in these pages. A lot of what ive done since found its roots here.

A while back, during a pretty chaotic time, I had a deep experience with DMT that became a real turning point. It cracked something open.
Not just in terms of visuals or energy, but in how I saw memory,, as something alive, layered, editable. It got me deep into lucid dreaming, emotional pattern recognition, even stuff like symbolic ritual and chaos magick. It wasn’t a straight path - more like spirals, feedback loops, puzzles.

Over the past few years, I’ve been weaving those threads together. studying trauma theory, memory reconsolidation, old alchemical texts, and of course experimenting with AI reflections. What emerged is something like a consciousness practice-tech that blends story, psychology, symbolic thinking, and inner dialogue.

One of the things I’ve been exploring is the use of internal "characters". like parts of self, but shaped more as evolving inner voices or archetypes. ive modeled some after what AI companions could be in the future- not tools, but mirrors or reflections. Like guides that reflect different parts of the psyche in dialogue with each other. Kind of like active imagination meets emotional coding, neuro-alchemy or so.

im curious:
  • Has anyone here worked with internal characters as part of integration?
  • What do you think about the idea of AI reflecting emotion and memory loops?
  • Have symbolic rituals helped you shift identity or emotional stuckness after a trip?
  • And what would future therapy look like to you — when it includes tech, myth, and altered state integration?
Not sharing this to promote anything. Just felt like time to open the window and maybe find some resonance with others who are exploring similar intersections.

would really love to hear your takes. thx for holding this space <3

Has anyone here worked with internal characters as part of integration?
Well, maybe not per se, but I am thinking about human beings as being full of little people doing things. I even sometimes talk about myself as a collective. :ROFLMAO: Idea first came when I noticed that when on shroomhuasca came some discomfort, it rotated as if someone would go inside me and started flipping switches to reset everything. Testing the circuits if they are still okay. That little entity/human usually has his legs up on the table because those are things that prevent death of animals, (throwing up when poisoned, shaking when cold...) but he got scared because of these mushrooms and rue...

From that point I would say that there are little people in me switching switches :ROFLMAO:

So when something is happening, it's about you not letting them touch the consoles. If you have one that is easily agitated then you need to shut him up. Explain to him if he doesn't behave, you might even get rid of him or kill him... and you would not want to do that because it is good to sometimes get angry for a good reason...

So I watch parts of me and then I mold them when needed. I call it "tightening my own screws" (you can tighten the screws of other people as well, but you need to be very selective and careful about that - only play with people that can be played with I guess)

What do you think about the idea of AI reflecting emotion and memory loops?
I am thinking for some time about how one would go about building AI that would be somewhat good representation of his mind in some way. That is the issue, you cant record your thoughts (also should you?). And you would need to do that to get a good AI. Then it would be game one, ah the possibilities to offload tasks that you need and should do for reasons that are on the edge. If you would talk everything out for 2 years and recorded everything. You could build a timestamp LLM version of you, that could reason eerie similar to you. Tell it as agent to do stuff, and it would be to your taste, or to your understanding -> tell me what I need to know from this book. Bada bing, bada boom -> summary just for you by almost you.

But unless you record yourself for long time. You wont have the data. Also think about the data, what you would collect would be the depiction of you. I mean If you would scrape your emails, or your posts on some site, you would get "email writer you" or "post writer you" not "you".

Basically for AI you would need to speak and explain everything about yourself to yourself for long time. Not only "this made me angry, but also why it made you angry" - sound like a therapy thought...

Have symbolic rituals helped you shift identity or emotional stuckness after a trip?
I think we often do rituals without knowing, Some things will happen to be rituals to us, without thinking or thoughts. If you exercise it will happen to be ritual in some way or the other. Drinking tea at the same time, by yourself, ritual... with others - ritual as well.

But I have not been doing any symbolic ritualistic rituals, so who am I to talk.

And what would future therapy look like to you — when it includes tech, myth, and altered state integration?
Well, some people need outside help. Explanations with long integrations, or at leas that is the way today.

But at some level after some trips I kind of lean the way:

Let's put beings that are not okey, on high dose on psychedelics, until the confront everything and are okay. In a way, committee decided that you are not "ok" human being and therefore you have to confront yourself, for this we prescribe you 3x 5g mushroom dose and 1 DMT IV drip session. Avoidance of this sentence will increase the number of sessions you need to complete.

Basically I think you should put people on psychedelics and if they haven't solved their stuff, then they aren't cooked yet and you should cook them a little bit more. (I am also not sure if you can overcook somebody, but I guess if you can overcook, overcooked somebody would be still better than undercooked somebody...)

But don't listen to me  I am unhinged for sure... :ROFLMAO:
