ok so hows this idea.

Cactus tea is made and reduced - maybe treated with getaline or egg then bombed with acetone to remove cellulose
Tea is then filtered and evapped to a resin.
This resin is disolved in the smallest amount of water possible, and filtered then acetone bombed again - this time to get the alkaloids to precip.
Alkaloids disolved in the smallest amount of water possible and bombed again to clean em.

I see this going down very well so i prepped up 2.8kg dried cactus to start experimenting with.

SWIM has been experimenting with your previous tek's, and has had some real success by just creating a tea, letting it settle in the fridge, decanting and basifying.

SWIM has found that mescaline fumarate can be precipitated in essentially the same way as DMT fumarate. The one thing he found is that this process must be entirely free of water, so using calcium chloride or anhydrous magnesium sulfate is a must in both the IPA/Fumaric acid solution, and the Limonene/Mescaline solution.

SWIM also tried your HCL re-x method using acetone to bomb. SWIM did not experience massive precips at all, and after adding what he felt to be an excessive amount of acetone for a simple purification step, he decided to filter anyhow and evap. The product was slightly cleaner, but nothing that a simple dry/cold acetone wash wouldn't have yielded.

SWIM's past experiments have found that Mescaline fumarate is fairly insoluble in dry/cold IPA, though this is not necessarily important if the IPA/Fumaric solution is added slowly/dropwise and left to precip for a day in the limonene, the precips after decanting are some of the cleanest mesc SWIM has ever precipped straight out of solution (cleaner than the precips SWIM yielded using the dry acetone/HCL solution method) and don't need any further purification steps.

SWIM thinks the next most valuable steps in the development of mesc teks would be the determination of methods to precipitate and purify fumarate and citrate salts, as they can be salted directly out of solution easily, and they aren't as finnicky as trying to do the same with HCL salt out of NP solution. SWIM is positive that mesc fumarate is a viable, non-hygroscopic salt form that could easily replace the HCL salt form if some more time and experimentation were put into it.

fumarate adds on a whackload to the weight - so ud have to dose high
i noticed a lot of diff between the salt forms of mesc - tried most of em - and i make hcl always caus i like it the most by a long way.

this tek doesnt use too much acetone - each section iv tried numerous times before and always had success.

just changing polarity to make the salts not soluble - the more acetone the better if the salt is insoluble in acetone - also it takes a lot of acetone to suck up that much water with salts disolved in it - its kinda like if u mix water and acetone then add salt - the water separates.
u need them to mix fully.

Have you ever tried dosing on fumarates? I'm curious to know what the dosage equivalent to HCL form would be. I think I remember folks pondering whether or not the fumarate form would bond to one or two freebase molecules at once and how that would effect the dosage.

Anyhow, SWIM hasn't experienced a situation where the acetone cellulose bomb is needed, what exactly is this step for? It just seemed like it used a lot of acetone so SWIM has yet to attempt it.

Let us know how it goes phlux, I suspect dissolving the resin in water will be difficult however, Ive only ever managed to dissolve it in hcl water over night. Id be more inclined to add acetone just before its a resin while its still watery

very nice indeed, has swiy tried converting the fumarate to the hcl in a purification step?

so swiy would dehydrate the limonene/mesc and the fasipa solutions before adding dropwise to precip?
