I want to preface this by saying that this isnt my tek, i came across this today on reddit and had some questions about increasing the purity of the end product.
The way this tech works is that at first the dried cactus is ground into a coarse powder ( much coarser than for lemonene or CIELO tek).
Next the powder is added to a mason jar and covered with vodka, after which the lid is put on and the resulting concoction left to sit for a couple of days (2-3 according to OP).
After this the liquid is decanted, filtered using a cheese cloth until totally clear and then put into a dehydrator running at 120F (~50C) with the door left slightly open in a well ventilated area to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
The resulting crystals can then be scrapped of the bottom of the container and transfered into a collection vessel.
This method results in a full spectrum extraction with a return rate of 6.8% (note: this includes all the alkaloids extracted, and not just pure mescalin).
Here is where my questions comes in: would dissolving the crystals in hot naphtha and then running it through a filter remove further impurities and thereby increase total mescalin levels, or would this just be a waste of time and effort?
