Getting rid of Chlorophyll from leaves b4 extraction?

Hello, i am going to extract from acacia leaves and as far as i have read the teks explain how to extract from root bark so is there any difference if i am going to use a tek but to extract from leaves? should i get rid of chlorophyll? how can i do this? is there a certain path that works better (STB or A/B) when extracting the leaves??
