GIANT DMT CRYSTAL

So I have a mystery on my hands, I mixed up some naptha into my basified mhrb solution, did one pull, evapped, got some dmt, then I added more naptha mixed the shit out of it for a while, then let it sit to seperate.

I let it sit for 4 days and when I looked into the jar I noticed 4 very large crystals growing on top of the basified mix, I also had another jar I was doing the same exact thing with and there is no giant crystals in it.......the big crystals in the one jar are almost and inch across! .... whats going on here?

Looks like your naptha was super-saturated. If the naptha was warmer (than it is now) went it went in... it would have pulled up more dmt than it could hold at it current temp.... the DMT would crash out and form crystals. I once super saturated some warm heptane while doing a re-xtal. I was interrupted and when I came back the next day, I had a similar crystal sitting on top of the sludge that I hadn't had a chance to remove before leaving.

Congrats! Looks like you got some potent bark if your second pull was this saturated.

Thanks for the insight, i have another question for you. so i said in the first post i had a jar just like this one where this didn't happen but the naptha was still very orangish light brown in color , the layers had like 5 days to separate and there was a totally distinct seperation of the layer so i pulled the naptha and evapped it, but when i scraped the pan i got over 4 grams of light browinsh material .... is it possible that there was still basified solution in the naptha even though it sat that long with a totally distinct seperation of the layers? the naptha was pretty much boiling hot when i added it and i did shake the every livin shit out of it... what do you think ?

Re-xtal and see what comes out. I doubt its got much lye in it, but clean it up just the same.

Wow, that is friggin cool, Ray! How about separating the large crystals, then adding supersaturated naphtha solution a drop at a time and see how large you can get them? :twisted:

And where did you get the MHRB that was so loaded?

im just wondering of since my solvent and mhrb was so hot when i added it to the mix and because i shook it so hard if there is a possibility of extracting other alkaloids besides dmt

ERRRRR!!!! That looks alot like what swim has. He had the same damn problem with hot naptha...tinted brownish/red. I made a post about it just up from this one. If you try it do let me know how it goes.

as Jorkest and me will attest, there is nothing wrong with brown spice. Obviously ask Jorkest if you don't beleive me, but there is something in the full spectrum alkaloid which adds a smoothness to the experience. Pure crystaline DMT, while impressive and sought-after, can be a bit 'raw'. Both are still a rocket ride, though.

I'm with antrocles & shoe on this one. I worked on the assumption that naphtha could only pull the nn-DMT alkaloid but after several hot extractions I always ended up with something else. A recrystallisation wouldn't hurt but I, personally, would smoke that loveliness.

I've also recently been pulling full-alk spectrum 'brown' spice with d-limonene and so what you have there must also be in mine.

And I can assure you that there's nothing wrong with mine!

well i guess i should have waited untill i heard more opinions on it but 2 days ago i did one re-x because i thought that 4 grams of spice was just too much to be pulled from 150 grams mhrb, after re-x ing i did see some funk on the bottom of the glass that was reddish brown in color...... i was inclined to enjoy the brown spice i just listened to the first 2 people i asked... i guess the lesson here is patience
