Just thought I would show you how big a tomato plant can grow cos I have never ever seen it so big till it grow in our little garden :)

It must be over two meters maybe about 2.30 of meter. Unfortunately its too cold here for them to go ripe but still they are beautiful.

Plus we have some peppers too. It looks we planted them all too late :(

Look at the green thumb on smokerx!!!

Yea!

My tomatoes didnt fair well this year. That plant is a monster.

Peppers look good also.

I love garden threads.

Well Done!:d

Here is a recipe for fried green tomatoes, very popular in the southern USA.

Thank you very much guys I am glad you liked them :) , I will try that recipe Ice , thanks for that

I've gotta congratulate you Smokerx, for your gardening skills. That also goes to Icehouse too.

-I really loved those big Salvia leaves, Smoker. One day i'm hoping to grow my own, and maybe they might grow just as big- or even bigger??:surprised

-Keep them piccys flowing!!.....😉

I will update on this I guess when I make some nice food from those beautiful green tomatoes :)

damn that one on the right is almost pink.
very nice!
also what kind of peppers?
i am thinking about growing some naganeros (as they are .2 million scoville above butch-t trinidad scorpion..)
but i don't even have enough room for the plants growing right now, so it may be a while :P

So, did you ever try the fried green tomatoes? You can scale it down and just fry one or two ... they are soo good!

You might also try one of those cherry tomato bushes next year -- they tend to ripen faster, and they are so sweet.

Those are some hot peppers :) , I had some chillies and normal peppers but did not get much from them :( (the cold weather came and got them). Its not easy here in UK to grow these without green house. We have to plant them much sooner next year.

I would not worry about space that much. Our tomatoes grew from a growing bag and all peppers were in pots.
