How hot was your solvent? I once slightly overheated my solvent and vaporized some residue I had in a dish.

I sometimes find when I'm moving super saturated solvent from one thing to another, crystals start sticking to the sides of things. It's quite frustrating.

You say you let it sit in a dark place for a few days. Was this at room temperature? Did you let it sit in the freezer for awhile before filtering? If your solvent was room temp when you filtered out those beauties then much of your missing DMT is probably still dissolved in the naptha. If this is the case I hope you haven't already tossed the solvent!
