It's my first post on this particular thread...so go easy with me :|

May I ask anyone who is gnostically minded whether the DMT entities are, in your opinion, archonic or sophianic...or both, or neither?

From what I have experienced I would go with sophianic, even for those occasional dark journeys I have witnessed the odd person taking. Even in these journeys the emphasis has been on healing.

I myself would not rule out the odds of bumping into some archonic entities though, merely out of a personal desire to not over-enamor something (the spice) I still consider myself as a newcomer to compared to many others.

I will say that I felt severe archonic interference with my whole psyche when I took a double dose of 2cb in a moment of stupidity.

I never tried 2CB due to non-availability...but I heard it was good...erotic even. (Still, double doses, eh? )

I should highlight that the 2cb experience was not good at all and unfortunately all but soured me from trying it in future, which I have been informed is unfortunate as it can be rather nice if used properly.

Silly old me but lesson learned thankfully.

to me, personally, the 'light of sophia' is present on or not on DMT, if you're focusing awareness on it..

and again, whatever state one's in, i think focusing on 'archons' is more likely to put them in the mental field..

the gnostics (in general) believed that we each contain a spark of the original source, and hence have the means to see beyond any illusory level...

If you think of archonic energies as parastic in nature then that (focus aspect) sounds like a solid idea to me.. My own feelings are to never get too complacent however.

I should add that I never really thought much about Archons before (or now) and the double dose 2-cb trip really spun me out.

I cannot discount it as coming from my own inner thoughts (subconscious or otherwise) but outside of DMT experiences, it is about the only psychedelic experience where I have ever really felt such "solidity" (for want of a better word) over what was happening and how very external it felt. Even with DMT I have not felt this kind of external malevolence (yet, perhaps).. LSD and Shrooms in the past (as an example) have always felt like an 2 way interaction of sorts.

This was more like I had bounced into somethings back yard and it was so gleeful about the fact it could get to tear my psyche to shreds (a black void followed for an indeterminate amount of time but the sounds remained). Seemed akin to a bored hyperchild that enjoys ripping bugs legs off.

But if they are there I would rather "know" about them than pretend they are not there because pretending they are not there might give them and edge and if anyone is going to have an edge during DMT dalliances in yonder realms where such entities might kick around I want it to be ME, based on the little bit o' knowledge we can muster. read the thread about combating malevolent entities and i think you'll find the archon-archetype is very prevalent. i have met one.
i have also met angelic style beings
it's a big universe out there in your head...

It's not really an if when it's sincere. A little bit of rationale and a fair bit of courage can go a long way when it comes to shaping the trip. You don't need to make an ontological issue out of it, just decide what you will not put up with and take charge. Everything requires your permission to exist such as it is... and that lingering fear in the back of your head is the ultimate invitation.

If that's just not your style, then.... well, have you ever just tried sticking up your dukes and seeing what you're really made of? You might be suprised...

I believe entities within these experience are neither 'this' nor 'that'. They just are. It's us human beings that ascribe such meaning/s to something that I believe to be totally impartial.

During a journey we might experience odd/uncomfortable sensations/feelings, dark colored journeys, etc and start turning the wheels up top thinking "ooh, this feels unpleasant, this seems to be negative" and from thereon we attribute unpleasantness/negative/dark to these experiences. Humans do this with nearly everything. It' all part of the same coin.

I purposefully posted a question in the "Philosophy" topic so that I could make an ontological enquiry. Have I made an error? Please give me a nudge if I am in the wrong place. My initial question was answered. But thanks for your input.

It's amusing to see so many here skirt around this issue~ OF COURSE there are malevolent Archontic entities ready to suck your "loosh/life-force" while they distract you: "Hey, look at this~! How about THIS!".

Who can deny the undeniably sinister vibrations that we sometimes directly feel and intuit in the DMT plunge into the dimensional hyperspheres? C'mon, let's grow up and be honest with ourselves and with each other.

Edit: I think the original question is more regarding the exclusivity of DMT entities and their intent as such. I admit deviation from OP as only time I have felt anything truly Archonic (and it was exactly what I thought) was that double dose of 2-cb... I do personally feel that there will be some entities/being that are exclusively accessed via DMT and others that, like us, are able to enter these world in some way. From what I read it seems the same can be said of upping the situation and going from straight DMT to MAOI+DMT (tried twice and felt like I had more access, though still lacked the instruction manual for self-orientation)

As such, another question would be if they are not exclusive to DMT, and some are indeed Archonic, then do they enter into this space in some way, much as we do, but for differing reasons and goals (maybe what we see as a cosmic playground, others such as them see as a large buffet platter of energy).

Just some thoughts, my only entity contact has either been positive or with a warning attached.. Nothing outright negative on DMT but I have seen it occur now... Also, I've been suffering from a crazy lack of sleep at the moment, so reading this back it sounds all wrong. I will leave it as is, hoping someone gets what I mean lol..

I can tell you what prompted the original post. I was just getting to the back end of this book: Not in His Image, by John Lash. It is one of the best portrayals of Gnostic thinking I have ever read. My use of DMT began at the beginning of the year and though I am relatively well read in occult and esoteric literature it was my DMT launches that prompted the question. I have not seen one bad entity in my launches and my very few dark episodes have been a result of what I consider to be DMT-N-Oxide; they were more just weird or powerfully weird rather than dark.

I read some encounters on here with awe...the ones that go really, really deep. Some of the darker experiences are fascinating to read and (surely the) same as everyone else, I am always formulating an opinion on the DMT mystery.

Thanks to all who posted replies...our continued communication is a key to better knowledge.
