Good naptha?

The Noman tek describes using naptha, but not lighter fluid.

...suggestions on what and where to get?

Go to Lowe's in the paint section. You're looking for VM&P Naphtha, should be by the thinners. While you're there, go to plumbing and get this for your NaOH.

Ace Hardware also has good VM&P naphtha. VM&P = Varnish Makers and Painters, so check the area with the paint supplies like The Dream Walker said.
