Hello everyone. My pseudonym is NeitherHere.

I have a few years of experience with various plant entheogens but have saved dmt for last due to respect. But after a decade of searching I find myself knocking on the door for some questions. I have my naptha, 100% lye crystal, large glass flask, several smaller borosilicate jars. I plan on [using] 1lb of acrb. But being new to the forum and coming from the shroomery I feel.. lost. It's the first day of school and I'm late to first period and the more I search the more lost I get.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to go the change route.
When I use the search function it gives me little to nothing or nothing at all no matter how I change the settings and I can't seem to figure out who I can trust as far as teks and stuff. Maybe I should do this questionnaire thing?

[MOD EDIT: no sourcing talk please!]

Big warm welcome, NeitherHere :)

Sorry to hear you feel a bit lost around the forum. I can really relate to how you feel - It is quite a plethora of information to take in.

Great that you have some of your materials in hand. I tend to do a modified marsofold's type A/B, but Cyb's salt tek is a popular one and really good for a first extraction.

In terms of the search function, I find using Google to be a better way of finding topics compared the Nexus. I just typed in "Guide to changa dmt nexus" and the top hit was this wonderful source of info.

Take your time. Hyperspace isn't going anywhere.

Hi there and wlecome!

Confused? Maybe try getting a sense of how extraction works: DMT Extraction Overview

Have a look through the established Extraction Teks in the wiki too.

And for a account of someone's journey beginning and developing extraction, have a look at Widderic's recent efforts.

I hope these things help you get started. Another, similar way of searching this site is by adding "site:dmt-nexus.me" (minus the quotes) to the search term in your search engine of choice.

Thanks for the shout out, sir.

Yes! I did my first extraction using his included link. I'm currently working on perfecting a technique that most suits MY needs. You can see at the top of my tek that I pulled information from a few different teks, again to suit MY needs.

Take it from me. Just 2 months ago I was at 5 posts, now I'm around 150. Almost ALL of those posts have (in shroomery terms) fruited tons of knowledge and learning. I have so much to learn. With patience and true dedication and determination you'll start to navigate this forum with ease, and be well on your way to enjoying extraction. I've asked just about every question there is to ask in my tek thread, so feel free to read through the whole thing.

Also, congrats on 1 pound of MHRB, but I would highly advise you to use 50g for your first extraction. 1) It's how we learn. 2) It yields plenty considering you have not tried it before. .5g (common yield from 50g MHRB) is enough for twenty five 20mg experiences.

Please feel free to PM me, as I feel it my duty to pass on what I've learned from all of the generous people here who have helped guide me. Also, drop by the chat when you're bored. You'll learn things in there too!

Finally, welcome!

Really noobing it up here. I just finished the membership questionnaire and did another post thinking this one failed (never saw any alerts) thank you guys for the guidance. Hopefully here soon I can get to work. For now I'm waiting patiently on the bark and studying in the meantime

I just wanted to clarify the [material] is for longterm extraction usage. I.e [get] once and be done with it. That being said yeah I probably [have] waaaay more than I could probably need being that I've always been a light to moderate dosage kind of guy with psychedelics. But it was inexpensive, privately harvested, and it supported small business so it just felt like a no Brainer.

Tomorrow I will definitely be reading the links you guys dropped for me but for now it's bed time
