Growing San Pedro and peyote

Migrated topic.
DG- WOW, beautiful! How is potency and experience? (Perhaps a knowledgeable friend has consumed both natural peyotes and your grafted ones?)

A few more questions...

Should I prepare a new soil/sand/vermiculite mix and put the old soil in a different clean starter pot and hope something happens? I don't really want to throw away all the old seeds (31 peyote and 31 San Pedro) Or should I just put the new ones on top?

Whoa, DG. I think I need some new pants. That's an amazing grafting job you've done. I'd love to try some of that medicine.

Hey mods! Since it appears that I'm a full member, can I ge this thread moved to cacti forum so it gets more attention? Need my babys to grow!

I pulled off the plastic wrap to resow the seeds last night and found a bit of a surprise! Three of the San Pedro seeds have germinated! They are maybe 1/2" long skinny little things with black tops. They are very close to the wall of the habitat though and I'm wondering if that is a big deal and what can be done if it is. I'm going to just leave the enclosure alone and hopefully something more will happen with the peyotes as well. It's Been a while since planted them all.

When my peyotes germinate I want some to get grafted to stock to accelerate growth. what Species grafting stock is best? I really like the look of dragon-n's clustered peyote. Where to order?

And my san pedros are still almost hugging the wall of their environment. What can be done?

Thanks for the links. The growth rates for those things is phenominal! I will definatly be purchasing some pereskiopsis soon. Thank you.
