And I used to mess around with chord progressions like that too, thinking I was onto something trippy and unique. Then I took some music lessons online and finally figured out why stuff sounded off or cool in certain ways. Gave me a clearer sense of harmony without sucking the fun out of experimenting. Sometimes all it takes is knowing a bit more so the weird stuff lands better.
