Haloperidol

Just as a footnote, and flying in the face somewhat of all the advice to stop adding more drugs to the mix, it may be worth knowing that Saint John’s Wort is a good CYP3A4 inducer.

This would theoretically hasten clearance of the haloperidol from your body but in no way would I recommend trying it without first consulting a knowledgeable herbal physician!

That effect might work but you forget all the other effects potentially even causing sero syndrome.
 
What i would recommend.

1: Dont go to that hospital.

2: Do what cosmic lion said.

3: Stop reading random scientific papers. Especially not case reports. Because those are about 1 person. And that person isnt you. So you can in no way quote that for yourself.

4: Relax and try and find a better doctor.

5: Try and write a breakdown of what happend in ONE piece to hand in to the police to get that bad doc out.

No I mean why is a crisis stabilization clinic pushing a drug for pain, nothing they did made sense and the doctor seemed to be enjoying himself. If anything comes of this I will definitely provide his information so that you can avoid him. I'm just reluctant to start using names on a site involving DMT, I'd hate for anyone involved to have their reputation tarnished before a full investigation, maybe they had a reason for that I have heard of people receiving up to 200mg of haldol in rare circumstances and perhaps I fell into one of those, the DPH makes perfect sense as you need to administer haldol with an anticholinergic drug 700mg is a reasonable dose there. The issue truly is in how I was treated more than in the drugs I was given I'm just dealing with the incredibly negative after effects of Haldol. I have quit all substances because they don't work so why take them? For me the issue lies in some of their abusive remarks and refusal to provide answers in addition to telling obvious lies to my wife. As for the Haldol it was great when I was psychotic definitely deserves its place on the WHO's list of essential medicines, but afterwards it is hell.

Yes, obviously I know that that's what you meant, you don't need to keep reiterating the same things . Why would you post the name of the doctor so we can avoid him? What are the chances i would ever run into him?

This site is about DMT and things related to it such as chemistry, psychology etc. Harm reduction is also a big part of this community but this thread is beyond the limits of this. You explained yourself and we have given you our opinions which you seem to want to rebuttal.

Assuming this really happened, you had a bad experience due to a negative reaction to bupropion, which was prescribed by your doctor, and then more bad stuff at the hospital. Now you're taking all these drugs to try to counter this haldol stuff and apparently nothing helps.. So now you have to ride it out.... So thats the end of it ,theres really nothing else to it.

But you say you don't want to quit caffeine and nicotine because you are not psychotic... you are just trying to reverse the effects of Haldol?

Figured it out, they had gotten charts confused and had been treating me for delirium tremens, I have never been addicted to alcohol, I may drink 1-2 beers a month with family. If I had DTs the treatment I received would have been correct to save my life, however that was not the case and left me miserable. The peak symptoms have passed and I am feeling significantly better today.

Not that getting the charts confused is an excuse but it explains a lot and means that they were trying to do what they thought was right.
 
Ok, regardless of whether the story changed or not ( I never had a very clear understanding of what the story was in the first place due to the incoherent way it was written) , who cares?

What is the point of this? This was not caused or even related to psychedelics. I'm glad your doing better now....
 
There may be value in sharing a recovery protocol for haloperidol should someone inadvertently end up getting dosed at a hospital due to an adverse reaction to a psychedelic, so if there's anything to be added along these lines that would be the most helpful thing at this point.

The obvious way is the best IMHO. Give it time and it will be cleared out of your system. If you dose up on on something else and get taken back into hospital, you will most likely be dosed with even more haloperidol as it is one of the safest and most effective major tranquilizers in acute situations.
