Harvesting rootbark

Hey DMT wizards,

I'm planning to make DMT out of the Mimosa Hostiles.
I live in a country where this tree grows in the wild with allot of very old and big trees.
Last time I've took some bark off the Mimosa but then somebody said to me that I need to harvest the ROOTbark and not the bark of the tree because the roots have higher concentration of DMT.
So I'm planning to harvest this week some rootbark of the tree but I still do have 2 questions about it.

1- Do the roots need to be 100% underground? Or can I harvest the roots that a sticking out of the ground partly as seen on the video?

2- Can I use all of the roots or only the bark of the roots to make DMT?

I believe the stem bark also has alkaloids, perhaps you could focus on deadfall and/or branch trimming and not have to uproot living trees?

I would strongly encourage you to harvest, plant, and share seeds from these wild populations.

If you do end up uprooting a tree (not advised) please plant 10 more where you you took it from.
