HCl dilution

Hello swimers
Can anybody tell swimer how to dillute 35% HCL for mescaline Hcl exctraction tek?
And how much he should use calcium hydroxide if he uses 50 grams of cactus instead of 100 grams ?

Hi I just did my extraction with vinegar. For the calcium hydroxide just use 12 grams. Also use only 150ml of water and 150ml of d-limo per pull.

About the HCL dilution. Look at my topic 'My first mescaline extraction'. The answer is given there by several people.

Thanks alot for the reply .Swim have another question does he can keep his cactus sollution (D-limo with calcium hidroxide ) only for 2 hours or as long as he wants ?

I let my limo and cactus/caoh/water mix stand for 24 hours without any problem. It even yields more when you let it sit together for a while.

Be aware that if you go the hcl route, you'll lose a lot from the washing process. With 50 grams dried material most probably you will be left with only 200 mg of pure mescaline hcl.

If you go the acetate route you will most likely yield more and also have the full spectrum cactus alkaloids. It is quite sticky oily though.

When swim gets his Hcl water( with mescaline hcl in it) in the end of the tek can he heat it in the oven at 80 degrees to speed up the evaporation or ields will suffer ?

Mescaline is relatively stable. I wouldn't think that it would affect your yields significantly. Also if you are talking about 80F than no yield loss at all.

Some people might disagree, but the science (merck index) and several people's well documented tests show that heat below 100C really doesnt effect mesc. dg has a post around here somewhere where he shows baking sulfate salts at much higher temps doesnt really do anything. 80 C in the oven is probably fine. Running a fan over the evap tray dramatically reduces drying time also.

What can swim do with the D limonene that hve been used in the tek ? can he re use it in his extractions of Mescaline from cacti if so how many times he can do that ?
