Hear Ye Hear Ye: For All New Members and Guests

Migrated topic.
In the most recent threads, we all tried to highlight just these issues. People need to be aware of the potential risks. Stay safe 🙏
It would be nice to put a warning in the title, if it is possible. Just like this one:

I improvised and added it to the title, the warning label is not available in all subcategories so it was the only option without moving it.
The prefix "Potentially Deadly!' has been added to that subforum.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Greetings to all new members and guests,

It's been noticed the influx of new members as well as visiting guests. This post is to invite you all to participate in this community if you feel so inclined. You are welcome here, as long as you abide by the guidelines. Though you may feel there's reason for it, there's really no need to be shy. This is a very open community, with people from all walks of life. Guests, in order to take advantage of all this, you'll need to create an account, so, stop being a creeper! Laughing Twisted Evil

A few notes:

1. Hop in the chat - The chat function is a wonderful way to congregate with members of the community, old and new.The more people in the chat, the better. It's one of those things that needs a little momentum. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but keeping the chat open usually brings little gems of reward. So in your downtime, while your feet are kicked up and you're relaxing, pop the chat open. It can't hurt. The other nice thing about the chat is the ability to open private rooms to be able to discuss things with members you resonate with the most, in real time. Connect, ask questions, be mindful, respectful, and considerate, and have fun. Learn, share, expand Smile The chat button can be found at the uppermost left-hand corner of your the main forum web page.

2. The questionnaire - This is an exercise to 1. help you develop autonomy in your own understanding about many things, though the questionnaire is centered around psychedelics; the skills it encourages can be used in many different ways. And 2. To help you get an understanding for the type of culture that is fostered here. We are very concerned with thoughtful approaches to most things.

3. Your expectations: Naturally, in engaging in a forum, we expect some interaction. Because this is an online forum, and the main form of communication is text based, conversations can be a little slower. So if you post, be patient in waiting for a response, and make sure to limit your expectations; it may take a while for your post to be noticed and for someone to respond, and sometimes no one has anything to say. And that's okay. It's not something to take personally or to become upset about. It's natural to perhaps be a little disappointed, but that shouldn't hinder future interactions. Don't give up simply because your expectations in a very specific instance were not met. Also, while there are some very bright and brilliant minds here, there's no need to be intimidated. This is a place of camaraderie, not competition. We are all valued the same here.

Hello friends. Just signed up. Been napping DMT for about 6 months now. None of my friends experience it like I do. They indulge to “trip” for me it’s very spiritual. In addition to that, it’s very “physical” for me. I don’t know how to describe it other than. Full “body scans” and then “downloads”. Mouth locked open. Eyes locked open. Then the emotion after is sometimes so grateful I’m crying. I only do this alone now because it is so intense. No pain, never scared, but wanting to dive further. I hate not knowing exactly what I’m vaping because I have trust issues lol. So I’m hoping to learn more from like-minded people and hopefully extract my own. Anyway. Happy to be here.

Good evening I am new hear open mind natural remedy and knowledge

Just wondering if its and different from straight DMT..
Yes, very different, and varying relative to harmala content.

At the same time it should be acknowledged that people do have confusion around what makes changa changa. Changa has DMT AND harmalas. Any other infusion with just DMT is simply enhanced leaf.

Hope this helps and welcome to the Nexus.

Hello, hi!

I'm a seeker across modalities and after a couple of really hard psychedelic experiences in ceremony I took about a 3 year break. It's really taken me so long to integrate the mostly terrifying and repeated themes blasted into my psyche (via various substances) which has just about convinced me of my repeated vision.

Recently I decided to buy a DMT cartridge vape (low dose) and disposable (triple strength - apparently capable of providing a break through experience) in preparation for a quiet time week-long getaway I have booked for myself after a stressful work project has closed out.

I decided to sample the low dose vape at home and was unsettled to find a repetition of the same scary vision and heavy feelings even at low dosage.

The last ceremony I did was a one-on-one bufo facilitation which really scared the shit out of me. I don't know if I experienced breakthrough. Would I definitely know for sure? It was really intense but I was conscious throughout, in and out and aware of the facilitator in the room. I was grateful for it to be over. I was really rattled afterwards.

Over the last 3 years I have done a lot of work on myself and felt strong, positive and ready to try again but it seems I've given myself "The Fear". That or I really am a bad spirit locked in a specially designed punishment realm where the hope of progressing out as a person/spirit is actually the sticky bait - and - when I merge with these molecules the entire cosmos is standing ready with double fuck you damnation middle fingers reminding me that I will never deserve relief and to not even try to escape. The incredible weight and repetition of that experience is making me wonder if proceeding is worthwhile.

I have quite a low tolerance in general and in my bufo experience the facilitator said she dosed me accordingly (65%) but other experienced people said that with anxious people who tend to struggle to let go that blasting them across is better.

I am very scared of what that could be like given how hard the 65% experience was. I've read great posts where members have perfectly described the lightning speed cascade of things that can set you down a negative path because of how jarring the entry is. It felt validating to read.

Having the same visuals and themes across high doses of psilocybin, mescaline and DMT makes me think there is value in working with this vicious internal judgement that seems to line my cells but I don't know if I have the balls or skillset to support my own journey.

Where I live, the medicine culture is so fake and performative and I haven't yet found a facilitator that I feel can really provide a safe container. The best experiences I have had were always alone where I didn't have to worry about how I was being perceived. Letting go of not feeling great afterwards for the sake of the facilitator is difficult for me. Always such a hard time. A lot of really deep shit which I think is hard for me to really share.

I don't want to put myself in any sort of psychological danger. Thank you for this wonderful resource. I'm definitely not going to be fucking with the triple strength vape until I've read more and connected with some other people who might have struggled in the same way.
