It seems as though about a gram of my fairy dust has been damaged by heat, it was light yellow, was left out in the heat (I had no other choice at the time), and over a couple of weeks has turned brown and doesn't seem to work as good. Will re-crystallizing or the like work you think? Is there anything I can do to bring it back?

Agreed.. Maybe a quick sodium carbonate wash if you wanna be super careful.

No real idea but I wonder if this could be partially down to (or causative of) oxidization.

GVG Endless, it is still active, but it went from light yellow to almost brown from the heat I suspect. I only suspect that it has lost potency from this. It seems as though this would have to be the case....hmmmm...

How did it get that way in a GVG? You're still using the ceramic filter between the flame, right? If so, there should be no problem with it.

Also, I hope you didn't pack that whole gram in there...

Not in my experience.. It should be perfectly active, at least when it happened to me it was ;)

if it oxidized (i am not knowledgeable enough to know if this is actually the case or not, but i would think it to be a possiblity) you can convert it back to fb with vinegar and zinc dust.

whether or not heat causes oxidization is another matter.

I have some hostillis DMT that is more than a year old and has melted into goo and changed colors over time...
And was re desolved in napatha a couple times it recrystalized a few times over to a darker color..
I finaly desolved it in alchol and made changa out of it...
When i smoke it..I expect it to be active.. there isnt much that can hurt the DMT molecule except open flame at a very high temp...I have read...
When i fire up my changa ill know for shure though...
