Hi all,
Just another W.Australian, but recently moved to the US.
I came across this forum after learning about Ayahuasca, and have since been obsessed with trying to experience it.
Growing up in Western Australia tends to lead you to a youth of experimentation, so I have had my fair share of goods in the past, but haven't touched psychedelics for a good 15 years (and was convinced i never would).
I am at a major crossroads in life after moving to the US, things have been a bit shaky for me here, and its getting me down, majorly. I originally seeked aya as I want to try find the old "me" again, lurking under some harnessed insecurities - however I financially have no means to getting to Peru, although I feel this is what I need. (they say aya calls you? it definitely does)
Anyhow, DMT took my interest as i feel it will give me a little prep for when the aya time does come. Hopefully some way or another I come across DMT and get the chance to experience in the near future.
I am really looking forward to re-discovering psychedelics with a more adult and spiritual frame of mind, and without the anxious "taboo" type association that I had when I was younger. I hope seeing something much bigger than me re-ignites my love for life.
