I am unexperienced in the realm of N,N-DMT but no stranger to 4-HO-DMT, I am here to learn and absorb from all you experienced members. I feel excited and anxious to start a new journey of healing and growth.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have been scouring the threads and found a lot of answers to my questions already! I honestly want to explore hyperspace, when I first started my research on DMT a couple of years ago I had the wrong intentions, I wanted answers! I now know through the use of mushrooms and reading enough DMT trip reports that the universe has no obligation to answer my questions. If anything just produce more than I already had. There is this deep feeling of yearning to have this journey, I know it sounds strange but I have looked to the sky since childhood and to this day for lack of better words feel homesick. I read these reports of people feeling like hyperspace is a familiar space, I'd like to see if that what feels like home? I just want to let go and see what happens, trying hard to not put expectations on the experience and there still are some, so I feel as though I'm not quite ready and I'm ok with that.

The most profound experience I have had on 4-Hydroxy-dmt:

Setting: Beautiful spring day at about 13:00, took a walk into the forest behind my house and tied off my Brazilian hammock between some trees.

Mood: Slightly anxious as I was testing a new harvest of True Albino Teachers they turned black when handled instead of blue, holy alkaloid!!

Duration: 2.5 hours

I consumed the 4g freshly dried fruits on a 14 hour fast while lying in the hammock. With no true intention other than to see how potent they were. I began to meditate as I tend to get nervous on the come up. I started to feel the body high in about 30 minutes and I was thinking wow these come on fast. I close my eyes and bam!! there is a large arachnid in a dark space it felt empty besides the creature and myself, when I say large I mean Aragog from Harry Potter size. I felt this immense fear rising, then the arachnid "spoke" and said you have no reason for fear here. The entity began to move closer and I froze I could not move, at that moment I let go and if this was my fate then so be it. The arachnid came face to face with me and said again do not be afraid. I quickly opened my eyes and saw the sun high in the sky explode into these lava like streams of light across the sky and everything became bright. The trip then began to fade as fast as it came on, as I lay there trying to process what happened. What I took away from this experience is that I need to fear the unknown less, just because something can be appear to be scary doesn't mean it is. I am clinical OCD, ASD, PTSD and a couple other co-morbidities, so fear has driven my life for a long time. I am now less fearful of new things and ideas instead I approach things with curiosity. I still feel there are some fears holding me back and possibly that I haven't fully integrated.

We would love to hear about some of your most memorable experiences with Psilocin. Is there something specific you are hoping to learn here?

I've actually had a pretty long hiatus from psychedelics and I've only been back a little more than a year. So I haven't had the time to get many fresh psilocybin experiences.

My most memorable psilocybin experience took place in the mid- to late 90's I would guess. And because such a long time has passed the actual details has somewhat fallen out of memory, but what made it stick with me was that I had a God presence mid trip. And for me, being an atheist at the time, that absolutely blew my socks off...

And more recently, this might be a little bit of cheating; but I was coming down from a light mushroom journey when I did DMT. It was the first time I was able to get deep enough into DMT for an entity encounter
Ok, so it was DMT that made it memorable, but I got there with the help of psilocybin...

What is it that I'm trying to learn here?
Well... Everything I guess. When I left the scene shortly after the turn of the millennium the information on the internet was still pretty sketchy. It was hard to separate truth from fiction.
I want to safely and responsibly explore the inner workings of my mind and it seems like it's best done with the aid of others.

That would be it.

@Mister Jim I enjoyed reading what you wrote. It was the presence of the Divine that hooked my interest in psychedelics (or better, entheogens). I was raised Roman Catholic and was told all sorts of crazy things about God growing up; it was delightful to instead find out for myself, on accident, while experimenting with acid in my late teens/early twenties.

It sounds like your values certainly align with that of the Nexus


@SpectrumFarms thank you for sharing your experience. Psilocin and DMT certainly share some common ground, as you might assume from their chemical similarity. I think it’s relatively common for entity encounters to feel intense and even scary. It sounds like your readiness to surrender to the experience allowed you to plunge without resistance. That same surrender is a big part of the DMT experience, in my opinion anyways.
