I've literally just started my first extraction and am at the beginning of cybs tek. I've kinda ballsed up right at the beginning. Following cybs tek I was ment to warm my mimosa hostilis bark for an hour and then freeze and thaw 3 times. I powdered my mimosa (50g) and added 300ml of filtered water. Then for some reason I totally forgot the warming part and put it straight in the freezer. After about half hour I realised my mistake so took it out the freezer and left it over night to thaw out and reach room temp (i went to bed). This morning i started again with the same bark and water, I warmed it gently for an hour, let it cool down and it is now in the freezer for it's first proper freeze. Will this be ok or should i start from scratch? Also when freezing does it need to be frozen solid? It's in a freezable glass container with lid...
It's now out the freezer and is taking ages to defrost, can I speed this up by gently warming it or is it best left at room temperature?
I'm sure I'll have a million questions as O work through the tek but if I don't get on and keepresearching I'll never start!
