I purchased the Eric Jonas book was going to start there with the 100g recipe.
Never heard of the guy. You realise he probably got all that info from here, for free, right?

Yes, I didn't stumble on this till yesterday, I watched a YouTube video and the guy in the lab coat making the video suggested coming here.Ive had the book for months and been trying to go down every rabbit hole looking for consistency as far as measurements and now I feel I'm ready to give it a shot after getting everything I need. Thanks for the reply I do appreciate it.
Most of the parts in a classic, standard MHRB STB extraction have a certain amount of leeway to them, although it continues to get more difficult to obtain some of the various ingredients for this,what with it essentially being the easiest approach to DMT extraction.
The Nexus exists as part of playing the long, and thereby more sustainable game, of exploring and documenting alternative source plants and extraction methods - including cultivating one's own.
So, how's it looking with your plans? How do you think you'll be proceeding from here? We'll be ready to point you in the right direction should you have any particularly intractable questions - but be sure to check out the wiki (an eternal work in progress), the search function , and use these as a guide to finding and exploring the relevant parts of the forum as a whole.

Yes, I have done it before, I have tried a mesh vape, a cart and a couple different powder forms. The cart didn't impress me much, the mesh pen was pretty good and so was the nectar collector. I will try a health stone when I get one with my rigs next and am hoping that's the ticket to what I'm searching for. All experiences were therapeutic leaving me feeling better about life as I have been depressed for years and slept through most of that time because sleeping was more fun than being awake. My friend said he had an ego death and he stayed away for a time but he has done it again since without that happening again. I should be having my own made within a couple weeks here so I will report back on what happens. Thanks for reaching out.

Still waiting for a few things, I have all my lab glassware, bought the wrong salt it had anti caking so ill pick that up when I drive down the mountain tomorrow. I'm going to try a stb tek and I when I see what precipitates in the freezer I can post some pics if that's OK. You all are awesome and nice to be amongst intelligent and kind hearted folks that seem to be here,

You should be fine - even the salt's an optional extra, really.
Lye, water, bark and naphtha is all it takes, at its very simplest. With those few things, plus a few household items, I got mountains of sparkly crystals in my first extraction about two decades ago.
If you ask me, it's easier than baking a cake, although I may have had high-quality, well-behaved bark - and that may be something of a unicorn nowadays.

Thanks, salt isnt the problem any more. I have had no luck with finding solvent, thought It was happening and struck out. It may be a while now before I can drive out of state on a hunt. my state sucks. This disappointment came today by email. Guess I won't have much to report until then. I'll keep reading and asking questions until I can get the pieces to the puzzle.
There's always a solution. For example, even vodka can be used for extracting.
After simmering the bark in vodka, carefully strain it off, cool it, then add pickling lime [calcium hydroxide] a teaspoon at a time to precipitate all the tannins. You should be left with a whisky-coloured liquid, which is a (not altogether) crude tincture of DMT. The water content can be reduced by freezing it out at -22°C.
Recovering solid DMT then becomes a matter of personal creativity, but there are some clues on the forum…
