Hello nexus,
I often read here and reddit, and enjoy what I see,
The time has come to join and post,I do not know when I'll be able to reply to certain posts that I want to so I will keep checking.
I am 43 years old,and in those years many have been spent in puru and bolivia, some in the city's,some on the ski slopes (Bolivia-before global warming) a lot in the jungle and some in the Prisons.
I now live in a small European country with a wife and 3 children,
I have been reading about people wanting to go to the Peruvian retreats.after news from old colleges, friends and family, all I can say is be very careful,
The knowledge on this site is second to none,I can assure you that you are much safer following the guides on here, doing what you do in a safe environment with trusted friends.
People want the original shamanic experience, but let me warn you, money and corruption is speading far and deep,
I am not saying you will have a bad time, but there is a lot of unreported experiences going on,a lot of poisoning, disease, contamination and in general, fake shamans, paid by tour guides to get the crowds into the retreats.
I'll have a good look through the site now and learn from here, and also share knowledge where I can.

Welcome to the Nexus!

Thank you for the warning, it is very necessary that people realize the risks they face in participating in such retreats and take all the needed precautions if so..

Whats your experience with psychedelics? Do you still take them? Did you take them before kids and if so, how did having kids change your life in terms of taking psychedelics?

Are they old enough to understand about psychedelics? And what is your wife's opinion on these substances?

Be well!
