I've been a lurker for a while now and figured it's time to take part of this great community, so here's my introduction!

My experiences with psychedelics is rather limited. I've been a fan of mary-jane for a few years, and as for most people it has opened my eyes and made me curious about what else is out there to explore.
Last year I tried mushrooms for the first time, and needless to say it was incredible and left me with a feeling that I had experienced something out of the ordinary.

Around the same time I stumbled upon something called DMT and since then I've been reading bits here and there about DMT/Ayahuasca/Changa. The trip reports I've read on here and other boards have been awe inspiring and now I just can't get it out of my mind. To think that there are plants out there that can do this, and have so many different abilities.

Now I am here. To explore and to gain better understanding. I've seen nothing but helpful posts on this forum and I hope that I can one day contribute in the same way.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for reading and thanks for having me :)

I started reading about DMT and then I got into Ayahuasca. From there I found the Changa guide which to me sounds like a smoother way to get into these kinds of substances. When I finished the Changa guide I read the DMT handbook which, along with the Wiki, has cleared a lot of questionmarks for me.
My plan now is to look more into the labmaterials around where I live so that I can make this special blend :) Most of all I need to gather materials for the extraction which in the handbook covers the A/B tek.

I have set my eyes on the following blends:
Golden Temporal: 1/3 spice, 1/3 Caapi, 1/3 Pau D’Arco
Electric Sheep: 1/3 spice, 1/3 Blue Lotus, 1/3 Calea (Maybe some Caapi as well?)

When I feel I have enough experience I may look into additives like harmalas, caapi extracts etc.

The questions I have are probably posted frequently and I stumbled upon these before I think but I might as well put it here :) :

What do you think about the spice:herb ratio? (This might be a personal preference which is why I went with the more conservative ratio)

Any noticable effects when infusing purified DMT vs non-purified DMT?

I very strongly suggest keeping the ratio at 1:1. Its much better to have a strong mix that you can just dilute later on by mixing un-infused herbs if you want, than having a too-weak mix that you cannot do anything about it if you want it stronger and have no more dmt. Less than 1:1 of spice will make it much harder to breakthrough if you ever want to (and again, if you want it weaker its easy enough to dilute or just smoke less).

Personally I cant say I notice difference between different batches of dmt. The same batch of dmt in the same setting can give so different trips, I always wonder how can people compare. One thing that might make a difference though, is if you made a very bad separation of naphtha and the mimosa layer. While NaOH doesnt vaporize at lighter temperatures, still the mimosa basified solution is full of other (like mimosa pieces) which will be very harsh to smoke, as well as unvaporized lye particles that can come across suspended in the rest of the vapor (and all of this harshness would probably not be a good way to start your launch). Other than that, it will all be fine :D

Check these two links maybe they are informative:

good luck

You're right. Most people have actually recommended a 1:1 ratio, and since the point of all of this is to dig in deep we want a breakthrough :) A lot of people seem to have an anxiety for flying, what are your thoughts on that?

I will have to read more about the different teks so that I know what to do and when.. like purification, re-x, etc. Good thing DMT is flexible in that sense.

And thank you for the links, informative they were indeed! Seems I will likely do at least one purification before my batch is ready for blending.
Next step will be gathering of material!

Wow, I'm glad I found this community.

Cheers.
