Hello

Tagwyl

Esteemed member
Hello everyone!

I’m excited to join this forum as a new member and DMT explorer. I’ve only had a handful of light trips so far, but I’m enjoying the journey. I have some experience with psychedelics, and I am passionate about exploring consciousness and reality. I also like to write up trip reports, and I like to dissect the meaning behind them. I’m eager to share and learn from this community. feel free to say hi! See you around!

Welcome, @Tagwyl,

Glad to have you join our wonderful little community. The passions you hinted at make me think you'll fit right in here and find plenty of cool people and stuff to talk about with them.

What has been the most profoundly important and life-changing realization that has come to you from your work with psychedelics?

Cheers <3

For me, the most profound and life-changing realization was that there is no need to fear death. It became clear to me that there is so much more happening in the universe and reality than we realize.

I had a major breakthrough experience on a mushroom dose many, many moons ago, where I was given a grand tour beyond the veil. That has instilled in me an unwavering optimism that I carry every day in my waking life.

I think it was this experience that first sparked my interest in exploring consciousness and reality, rather than simply trying to get high.

Awesome response. Right in the spirit of this place. Welcome 🥳

Welcome friend.

What other psychedelics/entheogens tickle your fancy and why?

While changa is my go-to, freebase DMT or freebase harmalas, or either in cannabis is also wonderful working material and spirit.

I'm fond of mixing things. If I'm on mushrooms or pharma, there's typically both a bowl of cannabis/dabs at hand as well as a bowl of changa.

I've been getting more into cactus as well. I see to be pretty sensitive to it. Having dosed 300mg last week (or was it the week before...) I felt it, a lot, and it has been surprising to those familiar with the cactus essence that I felt so much on so little. I'm excited to see where things go.

I like ketamine, but it's rare that I do it.

Be well.

One love

Thanks for the warm welcome friend. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts on this forum lately.

I've always been keen on shrooms. It's been a long time since I had a good trip on them. I also have had an interest in LSD lately. Something about the effects fascinates me. I have only microdosed it to date. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with back pain flare-ups when taking it. This is something I am actively navigating.

That is one of the reasons I was drawn to DMT, actually. The short duration of the trip allows me to get in and out without triggering much, if any, pain.

I also share your fondness of mixing things. I have been wondering what it may be like to do a low dose MDA and then blast off with DMT. I suspect there may be some synergy there, although I would want to really ease into it slowly and safely. Unfortunately, I had to give up cannabis many years ago due to paranoia.

I sometimes take pregabalin, and although not technically psychedelic, I have found that while meditating at night, in the dark, it enhances my perception of chi energy, or something very similar. Maybe I am an isolated case of this, I'm not sure. I certainly don't recommend anyone take pregabalin for this purpose.

I am definitely curious about mescaline myself. I've never done it, but from what I heard, it's something I would dip my toes in eventually. Im not familiar with the dosage protocol for it, though. What was the experience like for you?

It would not surprise me if I was also sensitive to cactus as you are. I am quite sensitive to other psychedelics.

I've never done Ketamine, still reading up on it. I think I would try it, but it doesn't seem like one I would use regularly.

Anyway, I appreciate you dropping in and saying hello. Be safe, be well, friend.
